Welcome.

This meditation is for my dear kapha friends.

There are times in my life when everything feels heavy.

It feels like I am carrying the weight of the world upon my shoulders.

In these times it is hard to be motivated.

It is hard for me to act upon my dreams and my desires.

I know this is my kapha becoming out of balance.

Usually because I haven't been moving my body enough.

This happens because I'm not eating the right foods for me.

It can happen when I don't get to share my loving heart with others.

In these moments I know the remedy.

The remedy is for me to move.

It is for me to create energy within me.

And so let's start.

And we'll start with our breath.

Breathing in fully through our mouth.

Drawing the breath in all the way to the belly.

Allowing the breath to move out fully,

Forcefully through the mouth.

Let's do this a few times with some energy.

Drawing the breath in.

Drawing the breath out.

Pulling the breath in.

Exhaling out.

And as you do this,

Do so with a bit of energy.

And notice your belly moving out and in.

Matching the breath as it flows in and out.

Now begin to slow your breath.

Still breathing deeply,

But bring your awareness to your big beautiful heart.

Bring your breath to your heart.

And imagine with each breath in and each breath out that you are stoking a small fire within your heart.

A beautiful energy that is lying deep within you.

With your breath keep stoking this small flame.

This eternal energy that lives within you.

Continue to breathe in and out,

Stoking this small flame until it becomes so large that it can no longer be contained within your heart.

And visualize this heart energy being set free into the world.

Visualize a beautiful loving energy radiating out from your heart.

Emanating outwards towards the world.

Visualize your big beautiful heart sharing love with everyone.

You are amazing.

You may come back to this meditation anytime you start to feel heavy.

Anytime your motivation starts to wane.

Come back.

Come back to the breath practice.

Come back to your beautiful heart.
