Welcome to this guided meditation.
Get comfortable lying or sitting and let's begin.
So I invite you to take a deep breath in and out.
Gently close your eyes.
Allow your top eyelids to gently rest on your bottom eyelids.
Become aware of your breathing as you breathe deeply in and out.
And as you breathe in deeply allow that breath to restore,
Nourish,
Rejuvenate,
And relax you.
As you become aware of the breath and you make it slower and deeper and longer and rounder,
Come aware of how the life force energies through the breath bring such nourishments to the whole body.
Become aware of your body as you breathe deeply and become aware of your mind.
And there may be thoughts that float across the screen of your mind and that's absolutely normal.
That's what thoughts do.
If you find yourself during this meditation getting attached to any thoughts,
Just notice it.
Say how fascinating and then just let that thought go so that thoughts become like clouds that float across the screen of your mind.
Keep coming back to the breath.
Long,
Slow,
Deep,
Relaxing breath.
Your whole body is feeling deeply relaxed from these nourishing breaths.
Now I invite you to imagine that you are standing on the timeline of your life.
At the moment you are facing towards your future and the line goes off into the distance and there are future versions of you along that line.
And behind you,
There are past versions of yourself.
Notice where you are on your timeline and how it feels.
And now I invite you to bring into your awareness your most recent vivid money mistake,
Money regret.
Something that you're chastising yourself about.
And I invite you to imagine that your current self turns on the timeline looking back on all of the past selves.
It can see your most recent money regret or money mistake.
But there are also a few others behind it that you might be sensing and feeling.
It's okay,
We'll come to them.
So I invite you to imagine that your current self goes back down the timeline to that self that made the mistake or took the action.
And I invite you to imagine looking at that younger self and saying,
You took the actions based on your knowledge at the time.
You thought you were doing the right thing.
I know.
I love you.
And let's imagine just letting this go,
This emotional charge that we have around this.
We're just going to lay it down so that we no longer need to carry it.
And I invite you to imagine that you're actually holding the emotional charge of that incident of that experience of the thing,
To lay it down on the ground,
Allowing the earth to soak it away.
Say to the younger version of yourself,
We now have learnt and know better.
And so we can do better.
And notice that this younger version of yourself looks you in the eye and says,
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you.
Now I invite you to look further back on your timeline or some other patterns or behaviors or incidences or vivid memories you have of many mistakes or many regrets,
Anything that holds a negative trigger for you around money.
And I invite you to really focus on the vivid ones.
So go back to the next younger version of yourself.
You might know the exact age,
You might not be 100% aware.
That's okay.
And now imagine that your current version of yourself is looking at this younger version of yourself.
Notice what the younger version of yourself is wearing.
Say to this younger version of yourself,
It's okay.
You were doing your best.
You took the actions from what you knew at the time.
I get it.
And I love you.
It's take the energy of this money mistake.
And let it go and release it together.
And give it to those.
Actually imagine holding it together,
Holding the energy of the mistake,
And then releasing it into the earth.
Earth is an amazing receptacle for any energy that we wish to release,
Can hold it,
Soak it up.
Beautiful earth of ours.
Now stand up again.
And imagine that your younger self is looking at you and says to you,
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you.
You may imagine giving that younger version of yourself a huge hug for one more previous money mistake,
Money regret,
Vivid negative money memory in your past timeline.
Let your current self walk back to that younger version of yourself.
Notice what you look like.
Notice what you're wearing at that age.
And your current self says it's okay.
You did the best you could with what you knew at the time.
You thought you were doing the right thing.
I love you.
Let's take the energy of this money mistake.
And let it go together because it really is no longer serving us.
And now imagine giving that to Pachamama,
To the earth below us,
That energy.
As you stand up again,
Your current self looking at your younger self,
Your younger self says,
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you.
You may want to give your younger self a huge hug.
Now,
I invite you to imagine that your current self moves all the way back to your current place on your timeline of your life.
Your current self is still looking backwards.
From your heart,
I invite you to imagine love and kindness and compassion for your younger self streaming out from your heart down through your past timeline,
Through all those younger versions of yourself.
You might even imagine it as a beautiful emerald green energy moving from your heart through the hearts of all those versions of your younger self.
With kindness and compassion and love and understanding that as human beings,
We all make mistakes all the time.
It's just a big part of life.
Now I invite you to imagine turning in your current timeline,
Looking out towards all of the future versions of yourself.
And I invite you now to send that beautiful emerald green love,
Compassion,
Connection energy into all of the future versions of yourself.
Knowing that as you continue on your money journey,
As you continue to learn more and apply more,
It'll become easier and easier to get better and better with your money and your finances.
And feeling that sense of your commitment to learning more about how to be great with money,
How to be great in your relationship with money.
So that you do know more,
So that you can apply more,
So that money and you can be incredible friends and allies as you continue on into your future together.
And now very slowly and gently,
I'm going to count back from 10 until one.
And as I do,
You'll find your awareness returning back into the room.
And you'll feel light and bright and energized.
And be ready to continue on.
Feeling enlivened.
