Welcome to this guided meditation.
Get comfortable lying or sitting and let's begin.
This guided meditation is an inner child meditation to heal,
Support and acknowledge your inner child.
There are many different versions of your inner child and there are also different versions of meditations that I have for you to work with your inner child.
So make sure that this is the appropriate one and let's begin.
Take a deep breath in and out and another deep breath in and out and allow your eyelids to close gently and I invite you to just arrive here.
Allow your whole body,
Your whole being to simply arrive.
There may be numerous thoughts going on,
Stresses from the day,
Thinking about the future,
Thinking about the past.
Welcome your mind and allow it to arrive as well.
And as you're breathing deeply,
Your body is relaxing,
Your mind is relaxing.
Invite your soul to also be here as the divine presence that always is.
And now imagine that your breath is a white mist,
Gently flowing through your nostrils,
In and out and in and out and notice your breathing flowing effortlessly through your body.
This is how effortless life can be.
So often we tend to hold on to our breathing,
Allow it to be effortless and as it becomes deeper and easier,
Feel your belly expand,
Your lungs open as you breathe in and notice your breath going all the way down,
Down,
Down,
Down to the base of your body,
Filling up your whole body with the most exquisite sensation of relaxation.
As you use your breath to slow down and to bring ease and alignment into your whole body,
Mind,
Soul system.
Now I invite you to imagine that you are in a beautiful forest.
Notice what do you see,
What do you hear.
This forest is beautiful and friendly and notice how you feel.
Is it warm or cold?
What do you smell?
And as you're moving through you're noticing the sights,
The sounds and the whole forest is giving you feelings of peace and happiness permeating through your whole being,
This deep connection with nature.
And now you move into a clearing and in the clearing notice your inner child.
What is your inner child?
And simply observe the inner child before it has noticed you.
And now start walking towards your inner child and wave,
Say hello and introduce yourself by telling your child that you are the older version of him or her.
Explain that you are the adult version of him or her and you come filled with understanding,
Love and deep knowledge of what it's like to be him or her.
Notice your inner child's curiosity.
Now bend down to inner child's height so that you're looking into his or her eyes and say out loud,
I've come from far in your future and I've come back to tell you,
You are valuable,
You are loved,
You are enough,
You are important.
And now I want to take you to show you a special safe place.
Imagine walking with your inner child to this special place,
It could be in nature,
Could be inside a magical house,
Whatever comes to mind first is the right place.
Imagine it in full detail.
What does this place look like?
What does it feel like?
What does it smell like?
Is there anything delicious for your inner child or you to eat?
Are there any toys for your inner child to play with?
Notice how this inner child is moving around this beautiful special exciting space,
Feeling completely at home,
Completely supported and valued,
Loved and acknowledged.
And with you both in space together,
Ask your inner child if there are any problems that they're experiencing at the moment that they need help with.
Hear yourself saying,
I'm an adult now,
I'm big and I can help you through these fears,
Challenges,
Problems or issues.
We can release them together and now truly listen.
Listen with your whole body to what your inner child has to say to you now.
Do that now.
Listen intently,
Ask more questions if you have questions and if your inner child a big hug or whatever will help him or her feel loved and safe and secure,
Tell them that everything is going to be okay.
Hear yourself saying,
I am an adult now and I can fully support you.
I can give you the support and love that you may not have got from mom or dad or the people around you.
I am here to fill any spaces and give you full full acknowledgement.
I'm here to listen to you,
To love you,
To support you.
Notice what's going on for your inner child as you've said those things and now hear yourself say,
You are beautiful,
You are amazing and hear yourself give your inner child any other acknowledgement that feels loving and true to you.
Do that now.
Now notice that in your hands there's a special toy that you want to give to your inner child.
Notice what it is,
What it feels like,
Lean across and give it to him or her.
Explain to your inner child that at any time you can come back to the special place and be together and that your inner child now has this toy to show her how loved and valued she is and to really feel your support and whenever he or she needs your support or needs you or your love or your listening,
All they have to do is just shout your own name out loud and now very slowly I'm going to come back from 10 to 1 and as I do you'll feel your awareness returning back into the room and you'll feel yourself integrating between the inner child and the adults that you are now.
With the inner child being supported,
Loved and acknowledged.

Becoming aware of your body,

Aware of any background noises in the room,

Rubbing the tips of your fingers together,
2 and 1,
Blink your eyes together and slowly and gently open them.
Feel the sense of contentedness and integration and the acknowledgement that a part of yourself has now been supported and loved.
