In this meditation you will imagine exhaling different colours. Practice seeing and feeling how the the colours would move or swirl in the air after leaving your body. See the colours red, orange, yellow, green, bright blue, dark blue and purple leaving your body as smoke, fog, mist or a cloud. With each breath feel more and more at ease. Next is the purest clearest of white leaving your body. End with imagining any colour you wish and enjoy a moment of stillness and ease.

Transcript

Let's prepare to meditate.

Adjust your body so that you are sitting comfortably.

Close your eyes.

Rest your hands on your lap in any way that is comfortable for you.

Take a nice filling breath in.

Breathe deeply in through your nose and breathe out slowly through your mouth.

Do this again.

Now when you exhale,

Breathe out with a long sigh.

Do this breathing again a few more times to settle your mind and body.

You are ready to begin.

In this meditation,

We will imagine our breath as different colors.

Take a moment to settle by just breathing,

Nice and slow and easy.

Imagine your body relaxing more and more with every breath.

Now,

When you exhale,

Imagine your breath leaving your body in the color of red.

Every time you exhale,

Try to picture it using your imagination.

Imagine how it would move or swirl in the air,

Like smoke,

Fog,

Mist or a cloud.

Exhale red and relax your body.

Now imagine exhaling orange.

Picture your breath leaving your nose or mouth as a cloud of the color orange.

Now as you exhale,

Imagine exhaling yellow.

Now picture your breath leaving your body as a cloud of green.

Now imagine you exhale a cloud of bright blue.

Now imagine this exhale as being dark blue.

Now exhale purple.

Now imagine the cleanest and freshest white.

Next,

Picture the breath leaving your body in a cloud of white.

Now take a moment to breathe normally and easily.

Imagine any colors that you wish,

Or simply enjoy a moment of stillness,

Silence and relaxation.

As our meditation comes to a close,

Draw your attention back to your real body.

Notice and feel where your body is touching the floor or chair.

Wiggle your fingers.

Wiggle your toes.

Take a deep breath.

Now go ahead and stretch out your body in any way that feels good to you.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes.

Now go out and find the magic in your day.
