The focus of this yoga nidra practice is on undoing the day and preparing for a restful evening, though it can be done at any time you want to let go of your thinking mind or part of your day. By reviewing the day from the perspective of the observer, using a traditional rotation of consciousness, a variation on nadi shodhana, visualization techniques, and other elements, this practice helps you release your day and find a sense of ease as you head into your evening. This practice is beneficial for anyone. This practice is done lying down on your back on a flat surface other than a bed. You may also lie down in another position that better suits your body, such as on your side, or seated in a comfortable chair, if needed. This can be done as often as you like. I hope that it brings you a deep sense of peace and calm. Enjoy!
