Beloved,
Find your way to the floor,
Arriving in the seated position that feels like a solid foundation.
Let your legs cross naturally,
Feeling the outer edges of your feet and your shins pressing into the earth.
Imagine your spine is a silver thread being pulled gently towards the stars,
While your seat remains rooted in the deep,
Dark soil.
Place your hands on your knees,
Palms facing down,
Claiming your space and your stillness.
There are moments when the mind becomes a hall of mirrors,
Reflecting shadows that feel all too real.
We have been taught to fear the wildness of our thoughts,
Only to find they grow louder in the dark.
These intrusive echoes are not the truth of who you are,
They are simply the wind blowing away through the canyons of the mind.
This somatic practice is a return to the mountain.
We are here to remember that you are the vast,
Unshakable earth that the wind blows over.
You are the witness,
The silent observer who remains calm and clear while the weather of the mind shifts and turns.
We are going to move through the body to create a physical boundary for your peace.
We are teaching the nervous system that while the mind may be fast,
The body is slow,
Steady and safe.
We begin by grounding the lower gates of your awareness.
On your next inhale,
Press your knees and the outer edges of your feet down toward the floor,
Engaging the strength of your thighs and the base of the spine.
Feel a silver earth frequency awakening at the base of your tailbone,
Anchoring you into the deep silence of the world.
Hold this firm,
Vibrant presence for 3,
2,
1 and release,
Letting the legs go soft.
Do this a second time.
Press down,
Feeling the silver light of the earth push back against you,
Claiming your root.
3,
2,
1 and let go.
Last time,
Press into the floor,
Feeling the absolute stability of your foundation.
3,
2,
1 and surrender the weight.
Now,
We bring movement to the upper body to clear the mental static.
Bring your fingertips to your shoulders.
We will circle the elbows 3 times in each direction.
As you inhale,
Draw your elbows forward until they touch,
Then lift them up toward the sky.
As you exhale,
Pull them back down,
Opening the heart.
1,
Drawing a circle of light around your head.
2,
Clearing the fog from your vision.
3,
Feeling the space widen between your ears.
Now,
We reverse.
Inhale as the elbows reach back and up.
Exhale as they sweep forward and down.
1,
Unbinding the tension in the neck.
2,
Letting the thoughts slide off the shoulders.
3,
Arriving in a clear,
Open space.
Take a few minutes to repeat these movements as they feel good to you on your own time.
Our third movement is a gentle,
Rhythmic swaying to harmonize the two sides of your being.
Keeping your spine long,
Begin to move your torso in slow,
Fluid circles to the right.
As you move,
Visualize a deep indigo light beginning to glow at the center of your brow,
The seat of your inner vision.
1,
Circle.
2,
3,
Letting the indigo frequency wash through the mind,
Stilling the echoes.
Now,
Shift the direction to the left.
Deep circles.
Feeling this indigo velvet settling behind your eyes as a cooling balm.
This frequency turns the jagged thoughts into soft,
Luminous clouds that simply drift by.
You are the sky.
The clouds are just passing through.
Continue this moment,
Circling a few times in each direction with your breath.
Now,
We enter a somatic scan of the quiet center.
Direct your awareness to the space between your eyebrows.
Let the indigo light expand there,
Making it wide and smooth.
Move that awareness to the back of the skull,
To the causal chakra.
Feel the silver current flowing down the spine,
Rinsing the nervous system of all static.
Move to the center of your throat.
Feel the cool air passing through,
Clear and unobstructed.
Now,
I invite you to place your right hand over your heart,
And your left hand over your low belly.
Feel the rise and the fall,
The physical proof of your arrival in this moment.
In this connection,
Whisper to your mind,
You are the weather.
I am the sky.
I am the stillness beneath the sound.
I am safe in the home of my body.
Take a final,
Expansive breath,
Imagining the indigo and silver light merging,
Creating a shield of soft,
Protective frequency around your entire being.
Hold it for a moment,
Feeling the absolute clarity of your own presence.
As you exhale,
Let your hands rest.
Carry this silver thread of stillness with you.
When the mind begins to echo,
Return to the weight of your seat and the rhythm of your breath.
You are back.
You are here.
Thank you for your beautiful presence.
Thank you for practicing with me today.
