Welcome,

My name is Emily and today I'm making space with you to go within.

I'll be your guide as we gently open the sacred terrain of your throat chakra,

Inviting in honesty,

Expression and the courage to speak from the heart.

Find a comfortable seat or lie down,

Letting your hands gently rest,

One on your belly,

One near your throat if that feels okay.

Allowing your eyelids to gently touch as you close your eyes or come to a soft gaze.

Take a slow,

Full,

Deep breath in and release that.

Let yourself arrive,

Let the world soften around you.

Bring your attention to the center of your throat,

The space of your voice,

Of your expression,

Of all the things you've ever wanted to say and all the things you've held back.

With each inhale,

Feel spaciousness build.

With each exhale,

Allowing tension to melt.

Visualize a soft sky blue light in your throat,

Flowing,

Swirling gently.

This is the light of your truth,

Bright,

Clear,

Uniquely yours.

Now let's awaken this space with vibration.

Take a deep breath in and hum gently on the exhale like this.

Let the sound vibrate through your throat,

Jaw and your chest.

Take an inhale and on the exhale,

Hum.

Taking a breath in.

Again,

Inhale.

Sit gently and let the vibration echo.

Let it soften anything that's stuck.

Now we go just a little bit deeper.

Bringing to mind an old story you've carried about your voice.

It might sound like I'm too much.

No one listens to me.

I have nothing worth saying.

Let whatever arises be okay.

Don't force,

Just notice.

Also noticing any feelings that come up.

That thought comes to mind.

Now imagine that story and those feelings are a thread tied around your throat.

On your next exhale,

Picture that thread starting to unravel.

Softly,

Gently,

No effort,

Just release.

On each exhale,

Seeing it loosen.

On each exhale,

Seeing it unravel.

Inhaling,

I am not that story.

Exhaling,

I let it go.

Inhaling,

I am not that story.

Exhaling,

I let it go.

Continue to repeat this.

Until you see that string,

That thread unravel completely from around your neck.

As you see that thread falling away.

On your next inhale,

I am free to express my truth.

And on the exhale,

I release what no longer serves me.

I am free to express my truth.

I release what no longer serves me.

Imagine that blue light growing stronger now,

Clearer,

Freer,

More alive.

Let the following affirmation echo silently or aloud,

Whatever feels right.

I trust my voice.

My words are medicine.

I am safe to be seen and heard.

Do that one last time.

I trust my voice.

My words are medicine.

I am safe to be seen and heard.

Feel your throat open like a sky after a storm.

Feel the space in your body.

Feel the peace in your breath.

As we close out this meditation,

Bringing gentle movement into your body.

Rolling your shoulders.

You might swallow softly,

Perhaps a sigh on the exhale.

And let's take one last intentional breath together.

Inhaling clarity.

Exhaling freedom.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Your voice is a gift.

Use it with love.

Speak like you belong because you do.

A reminder to always make a little space for yourself.

Until next time.
