“Spontaneity isn’t random.” - Malcolm Gladwell, Blink It can be helpful to have a list of "go-to" spontaneous activities you appreciate (that's an oxymoronic concept, I know). But with a ready list of thing you enjoy doing available, moments of unplanned free time don't get lost in the shuffle. The Gratitude Breakfast Club 7-day challenge is a quick podcast-style challenge to help you jump-start or deepen your morning gratitude practice. These short sessions offer easy and enjoyable entryways to reflection that help you ground your energy, connect with your inner positivity and strength, and live your day the best way possible. Every moment is a new moment, though, and gratitude helps no matter the hour on the clock, so tap into the Gratitude Breakfast Club any time you could use a pick-me-up! Let's keep going with Day 3!

Hello and welcome to the Gratitude Breakfast Club,

A quick morning meet-up to help you jump-start or maintain your gratitude practice.

We'll make it quick because we know you have things to do on this beautiful day.

Good morning,

Beautiful ones,

And welcome back to the Gratitude Breakfast Club.

Yesterday,

We talked about creating and respecting the space you need,

And I do hope you were able to appreciate at least one way you are currently doing that,

Or will do that in future.

Now today,

I want to ask,

What are your plans for the day?

Is there something that you're looking forward to?

Is it just a routine day that you don't have to put much thought into?

Or is it hard to get going today and you're not really wanting to engage?

Take a moment to acknowledge where you are right now and appreciate being honest with yourself.

Then,

Regardless of your plans or how you're feeling about the day,

Answer this.

What's something spontaneous and satisfying that you can do to improve your day?

I'm not encouraging you to blow up your budget or be irresponsible.

Just to think of something to inject a little spontaneity into the day,

To shake things up.

Once you've done it,

Take a moment to appreciate why it was so satisfying.

With love,

Appreciation,

And gratitude,

This is Karen.
