Blessings,
Beings,
And thank you so much for joining me.
I go by Honey Bee and I will be your bedtime host for this sleepy time,
Yoga Nidra.
I invite you to get as comfortable as you can.
There is nothing left to do this evening and I invite you into this space of calm,
Safety,
Where you will drift into a beautiful,
Peaceful slumber.
I'd like to begin this session with a Yoga Nidra to allow yourself,
Your body,
And your mind to rest into the quantum,
Where song will meet you in slumber as this meditation soothes you into the night.
As you get comfortable,
Placing any pillows on your bed,
Under your knees,
Behind your head,
Perhaps pillows to the sides of your body,
Or being,
Wherever your body will lay to rest this evening,
Let the earth,
The bed,
The floor receive your weight fully.
Know that you are supported in this process of deep relaxation.
Taking a gentle breath in through the nose is a beautiful practice of non-doing,
Surrendering to slumber.
If sleep comes before this Yoga Nidra ends,
Let it take you,
Let it soothe you into slumber,
Bringing your awareness to the right side of your body,
Feeling the right thumb,
Bringing your awareness to the palm of your hand,
As if gently melting,
Eyes resting in their sockets,
Tongue is resting,
Chest as it gently is rising,
Your belly is soft,
Digesting,
Resting,
Awareness back into the front of your hips,
As you notice your whole body resting in relaxation,
Noticing the natural rhythm of your breath as it slows down for sleep,
And imagine every exhale is releasing from the day.
Allow all these thoughts to drift away like clouds dissolving at dusk.
If a thought appears,
Let it pass like the clouds slowly drifting away.
Imagine a feeling of pure safety surrounding you,
Like a warm blanket,
As you feel the body growing heavier as you exhale,
The softer you surrender,
And then settle you in this safety and surrender.
Your nervous system unwinds,
Even the space between your thoughts soften.
