Flow journaling can help us tap into our intuition, provide clarity, and increase creativity and overall well-being. This practice includes a brief journal prompt designed for you to let your mind wander and flow to paper. The key is to write for the entire time and when you’re feeling stuck- start over with the provided journal prompt. You’ll have just under four minutes to answer the prompt, or keep going after the session is over, especially if you’re really in the flow! Today's prompt is: If My Animal Companion Could Talk, It Would Say.. (Music: Chris Collins)

Greetings and welcome friends.

My name is Jessie and I am grateful you are here for 5-Minute Flow Journaling.

This 5-minute session is designed to provide space and prompts to support your journaling practice.

These flow journal prompts tap into your intuition,

Can provide clarity,

Increase creativity and overall well-being.

Please grab your journal and a favorite writing utensil,

Open your notes app in your phone or grab whatever tools you may need to meaningfully engage in this practice.

I have a fun one for today.

Do you have a dog you love or a cat,

Perhaps a turtle?

Ever wonder what they'd say if they could tell you?

Some animal companions are expressive or communicate through their barks or purrs,

But unless you can speak dog or cat,

You might not be able to interpret what they're saying.

Today we're going to try.

We're going to take the next 4 minutes or so,

Put ourselves in our animal companion's heads and see what flows out onto the paper.

Start with the morning.

What does your pet say when it first wakes up?

And then follow your pet throughout its day.

This is a creative writing experience,

So don't get bogged down with the details.

The prompt is,

If my animal companion could talk,

It would tell me.

Have fun with it and let it flow.

If you get stuck,

Start over again with the prompt.

I will let you know when you have about 20 seconds left.

Again,

The journal prompt is,

If my animal companion could talk,

It would tell me.

If you are still flowing.

Thank you for joining me today for 5-Minute Flow Journaling.

I am grateful for you.

Wishing you a magical,

Inspiring and wonderful day.

I loved this Jessie! It’s so fun to write from my dogs’ perspective. Maybe this type of flow writing will get me journaling 😊 thanks 🦋🩵🦋
