Take three deep breaths in and out of your nose,

Close your eyes and allow yourself to relax into your chair or preferably floor if you're lying down.

Let's begin by clenching your face,

Screw it up as tight as you can for a count of five.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five and relax.

Next,

Tense your shoulders,

Arms and clench your fists as tight as you can and hold for five and relax.

Moving down your body,

Tense your core and glutes as tight as you can,

Hold this for five.

And let go.

And lastly,

Tense your legs,

Your feet and once more count to five.

And release.

Feel the tension release from your muscles,

They are now soft and heavy.

Allow yourself to get heavier,

Feel the floor beneath you,

Feel how your body starts to sink into it,

Bit by bit.

You're going deeper with each breath,

All tension has been released so that your weight pulls you down towards Mother Earth's core.

You're so relaxed now,

So warm and safe.

Taking three deep breaths once more.

One,

Two and three.

Now feel how your body starts to become light.

Your body starts to raise up and float.

You can no longer feel the floor.

Up and up your weightless body goes,

High above the ground.

A bright white light from above covers and surrounds you with a healing power.

You stay here whilst the light heals you,

Whilst your body gives away to the relaxation.

You're completely safe and warm.

Focus on your breaths,

Slowly and deeply,

In and out of your nose.

Feel the light enter as you breathe,

Cleansing you.

When you are ready to return,

Slowly,

Softly float down to the Earth.

Feel your hands on the ground,

Connect to the Earth once more.

Allow yourself to slowly open your eyes and be present.
