I'm Jocelyn.
This is a morning EFT practice with a bit of TFT,
Which is Thought Field Therapy.
We're going to look at the gamut series with this.
We're going to use this EFT time in your morning to start your day.
So I'm going to quickly go over the points so you know where they are,
And then I'm going to go into the process.
As I go over these points,
Just go ahead and tap them,
And you're beginning to awaken these points.
So we're just going to go through them,
And then we'll go into the EFT session.
Karate Chop Point is the outside of the hand.
You can do this on either side.
The fleshy part of the hand,
Where you would break a bunch of boards if you were going to break boards with your hand.
Inside of the eye is right at the beginning of the eyebrow on that bone.
Side of the eye is if you took your finger from the inside of the eyebrow,
Ran it around your eyebrow,
But continued down to the point where you were at the side of the eye.
It's on the bone,
Not in the temple,
Just on that bone.
That's the side of the eye.
Under the eye,
If you continue following your finger from the side of the eye down to below the eye on the bone,
So it's right under the eye in the center on that bone.
Under the nose is right between the nose and the upper lip.
The chin is when you're facing forward,
The bottom part of the chin,
Not the edge of the chin,
But between the lip and the bottom of the chin.
If you take your finger from the middle of your chin all the way down your neck,
You'll find a little U there.
You want to go one or two inches to the right or left,
And one or two inches down,
And that's the collarbone point.
And this I generally tap with all four fingers.
And then under the arm,
It's not the pit of the arm.
If you were to put the width of your palm right up at the pit of the armpit,
And you were to tap right below where the bottom of the hand would be,
That's the under the arm.
And then top of the head,
Which is as if you had a marionette string right out from the top of your head in the center,
That would be the top of the head point.
And I also use four fingers on the top of the head.
For most of the tapping points on my face,
I use one to two fingers.
And there's one last point I'm going to tell you about,
And this is called the gamut point.
It is on the back of the hand,
And it's the space between,
On the back of the hand,
Between the pinky and the ring finger.
There's a little bit of a space in there.
That's a gamut point.
We're going to work with that as well.
So for this EFT morning session,
We're just going to take a minute and just breathing,
Expanding into our body,
Contracting out with the breath.
Just allowing ourselves to live in our bodies.
And notice what you're feeling at the beginning of this day.
Are you feeling joyful?
Are you feeling a little anxious?
Maybe you're feeling tired.
Maybe you're feeling a little physical pain somewhere.
You can work on all of these things,
But I am not going to give you a script.
I'm simply going to call out the points for you to move tapping through.
What I'm going to ask you to do is to speak out loud your internal thoughts about how you're feeling while you tap through each of these places.
So if I am feeling tired while I'm tapping through,
I might be saying things like,
I'm really tired.
I don't want to go into this day today.
I'm dreading the meeting between this person and that person.
You're just going to allow your thoughts to come out as you tap on these points.
And that's how we're going to start.
So finding a comfortable position,
Sitting up and just take one more deep breath,
Inhaling through the nose,
Exhaling through the mouth,
Tuning in to how you feel today.
Begin to tap the karate chop point on the side of the hand gently with all four fingers.
Noticing how you feel,
What's there that you want to shift,
And you're going to come up with a statement for yourself.
You don't have to think too hard about it.
It might be,
I'm really tired and I'm not ready for this day.
Whatever your thought is.
And what you're going to put at the end of that is,
And I accept myself just as I am.
You're just going to add that to the end of your statement.
So it might be,
I am tired and dreading this day and I accept myself just as I am.
Whenever your statement is,
You're going to say it three times out loud while you're tapping this karate chop point.
Moving on to the inside of the eye,
Which is the beginning of the eyebrow.
As we tap through all of these points,
You're going to just say out loud your thoughts about what this thing is you're going to be shifting today.
It might be things like,
I'm tired,
I'm dreading this,
Not another day.
Whatever thoughts are coming into your awareness,
Say them out loud while we tap through these points.
Inside of the eye,
Side of the eye,
Under the eye,
Under the nose,
Chin,
Collarbone,
Under the arm,
Top of the head.
And go back to that inside of the eye at the beginning of the eyebrow.
And this time I want you to just breathe in to how your body feels at this moment.
And you're just going to say out loud different things that your body is feeling.
For instance,
My eyes feel heavy.
Whatever it is that's happening in your body.
You don't have to come up with one for each spot.
You can repeat at any time what you've said prior.
We're tapping here at the inside of the eye,
You can begin.
Inside of the eye,
Under the eye,
Under the nose,
Chin,
Collarbone,
Under the arm,
Top of the head.
You can go back to the inside of the eye in this round.
I'm just going to ask you to say out loud any beliefs that you have about the day.
It's not going to be a great day,
Or whatever you want to say as far as the beliefs that you have for this day,
Starting now,
Inside of the eye.
Inside of the eye,
Under the eye,
Under the nose,
Chin,
Collarbone,
Under the arm,
Top of the head.
Release your hands down to your lap and take three deep breaths.
They can be any kind of breaths you like.
Inhaling through your nose,
Exhaling through your mouth.
You can even do a physiological sigh,
Which is two gentle sips in through the nose,
Opening your mouth and sighing out.
And one last time,
Inhaling through your nose,
Exhaling through your mouth.
And go ahead starting to tap at the inside of the eyebrow.
We're now going to go through just a series or two of EFT tapping,
And what I'm going to ask you to say this time is,
It can be an affirmation that you're using around what you're working on shifting,
Or it might simply be,
I am okay,
I'm safe and secure in my body.
It might be,
I've done this before,
I've made it through.
It might be,
I am willing to see what the day brings.
You can really choose as you go through what comes up.
We're going to start on the inside of the eye,
And remember you can repeat these phrases from one point to the other.
Inside of the eye,
Side of the eye,
Under the eye,
Under the nose,
Chin,
Collarbone,
Under the arm,
Top of the head.
And for this last round of points here,
The EFT points,
I want you as we tap to say out loud those things that you wish others would say to you to get you through the day,
The things that you wish others would say to you.
It might be,
You're doing an amazing job.
It might be,
I appreciate you.
Anything that you feel you wish other people would say to encourage you.
Starting with the inside of the eye,
Side of the eye,
Under the eye,
Under the nose,
Chin,
Collarbone,
Under the arm,
Top of the head.
Wrapping your hands and just taking three more deep breaths,
Inhaling through your nose.
Exhaling through your mouth.
Relaxing with each exhale,
Inhaling through your nose.
Exhaling through your mouth.
And one last time,
Inhaling through your nose.
And exhaling through your mouth.
And I'm going to walk you through the gamut series.
And the gamut point again,
You're going to start tapping on the back of the hand,
It doesn't matter which hand,
Between the pinky and the ring finger on the back of the hand.
Just tapping that point and you're going to continue tapping that point while I walk you through the nine gamut series.
Closing your eyes,
With your head in a stable position,
Open your eyes,
Close your eyes.
Look down toward the left without moving your head.
Look down to the right without moving your head.
Move your eyes all the way around in a circle.
Now move your eyes in the opposite direction all the way around in a circle.
We're going to hum a little tune.
You can do happy birthday if you'd like.
Counting one to five,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Counting five to one,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
And hum a few bars of happy birthday or whatever song you want to hum.
Bring your eyes down to the floor and slowly bring them all the way up to the ceiling.
And that's it.
