I'm Reverend Karima and I'm here to share a story with you.
This story started on a very specific day.
It was Friday and the little girl looked forward to the weekend because then she could be with her mom and dad all day.
The weekend means Friday evening,
Saturday,
And Sunday.
She looked forward to it because both mom and dad worked a lot and she knew that when the word weekend was mentioned it was time to have fun with mom and dad and the rest of the family.
So on the first day she decided that she's gonna go to bed early and when she woke up it would be Friday and all she had to do was go to school and come home and the weekend would start and the weekend also meant candy.
So she was so excited she jumped into bed,
Brushed her teeth before falling asleep because sometimes you do that while in bed so you are totally ready and then she turned almost all the lights out except for a small lamp because she was a bit scared of the dark.
The next day she woke up and she was sure it was Friday.
Little did she know that she woke early and it was still her first day.
So she was very disappointed and her mom told her to go back to bed again and of course you have to do what your mom tells you so back she went.
Then she decided to pray to the angels.
Dear angels please make it Friday very soon and that word weekend so that that could start as soon as possible.
Then she thanked the angels because she remembered them from when she was a tiny baby.
She knew that they were around the entire house and that the adults had forgotten about them because the adults made everything so hard all the time.
They were angry and yelled but she just wanted to hug them.
Then she fell asleep and she had a very strange dream.
She was riding a horse and the horse was white and black and it had some brown spots too and the name of the horse was what was the name she thought in the dream?
Oh Henry.
The horse name was Henry.
She and Henry were going together down a small mountain.
There she stopped and she asked Henry why do the adults seem so uptight and why are they so into this weekend thing?
So the horse explained the weekend was that time when the adults took time off from work and she asked what's work and the horse told her work is what they do so that they can be adults and bring home money so that they can eat and she told Henry but there are so many more things to do and you know God and angels provide everything.
I know said Henry but they don't.
Maybe you should wish that they could have a dream where they can see who they truly are.
Yes she said that's a wish I have.
Yes said Henry you know wishes come true don't you?
She nodded and they went away back to the place where the horse rested a little bit and drank some water.
The next morning she woke up and ran down to her parents.
It's the weekend she yelled.
I know her mom said but I still have to work.
No no she said I had a dream last night and you don't have to work because God provides everything.
Ha the mom said that's what that's what they wanted to believe but we have to work hard for everything.
Then the mom went to work and then the girl went to school.
During school she had a little time to relax and she fell asleep for five minutes.
In that dream she saw an angel talking to her mother about how badly she wanted to spend time with them.
When she woke up she felt so happy and when the bell rang for the last time that day she ran to the car to meet her mother because she wasn't old enough to go back herself.
Her mom had tears in her eyes.
She said somebody at work told me that they wanted to give us something.
What do they want to give us mommy?
She said they wanted to give us lots of food and toys for you and everything.
Why?
She said.
Her mom said I don't know.
They said that they came from a spiritual center.
What's a spiritual center?
The girl asked.
A spiritual center is where people who believe in God or something stronger than men goes to be together.
She replied.
Oh you mean like they talk to the angels and stuff?
The girl said.
Exactly her mom said.
So they gave us food and they gave us water and they gave us soda and they gave us ice cream and many other things we needed too.
I know the girl said because I prayed for you to see that there are goodness in the world.
Her mom said and smiled and said I know now I know that God is real and that you are my little angel.
