Welcome.
This practice is designed for moments of overwhelm,
When your tufts feel busy,
Your senses feel full,
Or your inner world feels louder than you would like.
This is not therapy and not a solution to fix anything.
It is a gentle space for nervous system support and steady presence.
Nothing needs to change right now.
We simply begin.
Begin.
Find a comfortable position.
If it feels right,
Allow your eyes to close.
Notice the weight of your body,
The ground is holding you.
Now imagine a mountain.
It may be one you have seen before,
Or one that exists only in your mind.
You are standing at its base.
The air moves around you,
In the distance you hear the wind.
A few drops of rain touch your jacket.
You are not in danger,
You simply sense that the weather below is unsettled.
Slowly,
You begin walking upward along a narrow path.
There is no rush,
Each step is steady,
Grounded.
As you climb,
The sounds of the storm soften behind you.
They do not disappear,
They simply grow more distant.
Natural stone steps from beneath your feet,
The path remains open to the sky.
Your body is working,
But not struggling.
Your breath follows your movement.
Inhale and exhale.
With each step,
The air feels clearer,
And then without a thought,
The path opens into a wide plateau.
The clouds are now below you.
There is no need to quiet them.
You have simply risen above them.
Behind you the mountains stand solid,
Before you the sky stretches wide and bright.
You sit on a large warm stone,
Feel its steady support.
Nearby,
A small stream flows gently,
It does not rush,
It does not hesitate,
It simply moves forward.
Up here,
The air feels spacious.
If thoughts arise,
They are like a stream,
Like the clouds below.
They move,
But they do not reach you here.
There is no need to create silence.
The silence is already present.
Rest here for a few breaths.
Inhale and exhale.
The mountain remains behind you,
The stone supports you,
The stream reminds you that movement always finds its way.
When you feel ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to your body.
Notice your shoulders,
Your hands,
Your legs,
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
This higher perspective is always available in here.
