
Metal Meditation: Connect With Self And Improve Boundaries

Empower your Metal element, during the autumn or anytime. Enhance your boundaries; not by putting up walls, but by clarifying and celebrating your own vibration. Support the function of your Lungs, Nervous system, Large intestines, Brain/Sinuses and Skin.
Transcript
So finding a comfortable position,
You can be seated or laying down,
Whatever is most comfortable for you.
And you're welcome to switch positions during this meditation.
It's important to have a straight spine.
So,
Seated or laying down,
A straight spine so that energy can flow freely through your spine.
And as you notice your breath,
Welcome your breath to bring your awareness into your body.
Your breath brings your awareness into this now moment,
Asking the question,
What is?
What is my body feeling?
What is the smell in front of me?
What is the taste on my tongue?
What is the sound that I hear from far,
Far away?
What is it that I see with my eyes closed?
Welcoming all of the senses to bring you into this now moment.
And you notice your connection with the earth through your sits bones and your feet or through your back if you're lying down.
Just noticing the earth beneath you.
And as gravity is pulling you downward,
You notice that gravity releases your tension down into the earth.
The tension just melts away.
And the earth is always there,
Reaching up to meet you,
Holding you,
Supporting you.
If you ever fall,
Notice how quickly the earth reaches up to catch you.
Repeating that again.
Whenever we fall in life,
The earth is there to meet us,
To catch us,
To hold us.
That support is always there.
And noticing that deep within your body,
Within every single cell,
Noticing that each of your cells can feel how it's held by the earth.
The earth has this vibration of nature.
Nature is powerful and yet gentle.
Big energy and yet serene.
And as those vibrations connect in with your body,
It reminds each cell in your body that it too vibrates with nature.
Each cell has power and gentleness.
And we turn our attention within these cells of our bodies.
And we welcome your cells to open up,
To have a little bit more space to express their nature.
Giving these cells a little bit more space to be in a full state of health.
And you notice that each cell within your being has a little light inside of it.
The light of your spirit.
The light of who you are.
And we notice the quality of this light.
Noticing if it's shining with a small flame or blazing with a big one.
Flickering or steady.
And we welcome the light within each cell of your body to connect up,
Out the crown of your head,
All the way up to the distant stars.
Those distant stars shine the brightest light.
So much energy.
So much inspiration.
So much potential.
The light of the stars is light and weight.
It's wispy.
It's fast.
Things can change.
And as that brightness touches the cells of your body,
It ignites the light within you.
The light within you shines brighter.
It's inspired to increase the size of its flame.
Welcoming your spirit to be inspired within this body.
To be powerful.
Welcoming your spirit to have a home here in this body.
Taking a few moments to do a body scan as you notice these ignited flames throughout your body.
The power of having your spirit fully present in the here and the now.
So we have this powerful nature and this powerful light in each cell.
And then we remind the cells to work together.
There's this vibration at your heart.
Tuning into your heart.
Tuning into your heart resonance.
This unique vibration of you.
Unique vibration of love.
Of joy.
Of passion.
And we welcome this heart resonance from inside of you to expand out into all of the cells of your body.
And we watch those cells as they start to hold hands and form community support.
Working together.
Compassion for each other.
Your heart resonance is the thread that weaves together your body to work in unison.
And we just watch this wave go through your body that unifies everything.
It's a ripple from your heart outward in concentric circles.
And we take a few moments in silence to just feel.
Feel this amazing physical body as it's all lit up and empowered.
Today we focus on a state of health for the metal element.
The metal element is represented in the physical body.
The mental emotional body and the spiritual body.
We start by bringing our attention and our breath to the lungs.
Noticing the shining bright light within your lungs.
With every inhale your lungs become brighter with this golden light.
This golden healing light.
The light flowing through the membranes of the lungs.
Welcoming function in a full state of health.
The metal element is often associated with grief,
Sadness,
Depression,
Disconnection,
Apathy.
We find ourselves being brave as we feel for those vibrations here in our lungs.
As we say hello to those vibrations.
There's a loneliness in the metal element.
Feeling disconnected.
We don't want to give away this energy or get rid of it.
We want to say hello to it.
And wrap our arms around these vibrations to transform them.
Transform them into energy that's more useful for us.
Grief,
Sadness,
Loneliness,
Depression,
Apathy,
Disconnection.
We ask all of these vibrations to transform with this light.
With the heart resonance and with nature.
So with your breath we're just welcoming these vibrations to transform into empathy.
Trust.
Peace.
Connection.
Connection to others through empathy.
Connection to ourselves through empathy.
This gentleness.
Inhaling at your lungs.
Exhaling down at your colon.
Your large intestine.
So we're connecting the lungs to the large intestine.
Just noticing that as you exhale you're releasing energy from the lungs down to the large intestine.
Another important part of your metal element.
And welcoming this golden light throughout the large intestine.
The ascending colon on the right.
Transverse colon just below the navel.
Descending colon on the left.
Welcoming it to glow brightly.
This part of our metal element is all about letting go.
Letting go of what does not serve you anymore.
Having the clarity to know what is not yours.
Clarity to know what is not your path.
Clarity to see what you've been carrying along with you for so long.
That you're ready to stop carrying,
Stop holding.
We can't receive the good without letting go of what's not ours.
This colon is here to make space in the rest of the body.
We can keep spinning around in the toxins that are present.
Spinning around in the chaos of our lives.
Spinning around in everybody else's expectations.
Or we can let go.
Making space for peace,
Connection,
Hope.
The metal element is most active in the fall,
The autumn.
When the trees let go of their leaves.
The trees find their nutrients and pull them in.
Bring them into the sap and bring those nutrients down to the roots.
And allow the leaves to fall away.
And that is what we ask the colon to do.
We welcome the nutrients to stay with your body.
To stay with the root of your soul.
And we just let go of what does not serve us anymore.
We inhale at the colon.
And exhale at the nervous system.
Imagining the nervous system within your spine.
Going up and down your spine.
Inhale at the colon and exhale at the nervous system.
Connecting the two.
The metal element includes the nervous system.
When the nervous system is tuned into the chaos of the world.
Tuned into the chaos within you.
There's a big response.
We don't feel safe.
We feel like we have to be doing something or running from something.
Or protecting ourselves.
We put up our walls.
With our inhaling breath.
And all of this bright golden light flowing through your nervous system.
We welcome the nervous system to step into a space of peace.
As you follow the nervous system down to the tailbone.
We notice that you are connected to the earth.
The earth is nourishing you.
Giving you a space of safety.
And the nervous system can feel that.
Can feel that tension can be released into the earth.
That it's being held.
And at the top of the spine,
The crown of the head.
The nervous system reaches up.
Into the universe.
And that connection upward brings so much hope.
In the infinite possibilities.
In the infinite ways that we can manifest our futures.
The infinite ways.
That we can be protected and held.
So with this deep and even breath.
We're bringing a state of peace into the nervous system.
Bringing flow and ease.
The vagus nerve starts to send this feeling.
This vibration of ease out to each of the organs.
Including the lungs and the colon.
The nervous system is telling the lungs.
You are safe.
Just breathe.
The nervous system is telling the large intestine.
You are safe.
You can let go.
And then the nervous system connects in with the ultimate membrane.
The skin.
So we inhale at the spinal cord.
And we exhale at the skin.
And as you do so,
You feel this expansiveness.
As your attention expands to the outside of your body.
To this space where you touch the inside and the outside at the same time.
This space where you can feel your physical body.
And feel the outside world.
When the nervous system is clamped down.
We hold everything in.
Our love and passion and joy can't get out to the rest of the world.
And we hold in our grief and loneliness.
So we welcome our nervous system into this space of peace.
And it ripples out to the skin and the skin starts to expand.
When there's safety on the skin.
Protection on the skin.
Your skin starts to expand off of your body.
Lifting outward in every direction.
Creating this energetic bubble at least three feet out in every direction.
And as it expands,
You notice that this is a permeable field around you.
It lets love come in.
It lets love come out.
It bounces off what's not yours.
It welcomes you the space to process what no longer serves you.
So we can be released.
This massive expansive field around you.
Protecting you out there.
So you don't have to protect yourself at your body.
Going into situations with co-workers or family members.
Standing at the center of this field.
Trusting that this field can just bounce off what's not yours.
As people throw their expectations at you.
You don't have to tense up.
You don't have to take it in.
You can simply play with this feeling of expansiveness.
Of trust in this field around you.
Their expectations can just bounce off the edge of your field.
Right back at them.
Like a mirror.
So they can see them.
You don't have to vibrate with their expectations.
It's not yours.
But what is yours?
What is yours is this mix within your body.
The vibration of light.
So much light from your spirit.
The vibration of nature within all of your physical body.
And the vibration of your heart resonance that makes you uniquely you.
Welcoming that vibration.
That light to mix and expand within your heart.
Expanding out through your body.
Through the pores of your skin.
Out into this field around you.
So that you're completely surrounded by your vibration.
Your energy.
Your light.
From this space.
Of your own empowerment.
It's easy to see what is yours and what is not yours.
Easy to bounce off other people's expectations.
It's easy to connect with others when you have a self.
An undeniable vibration of self.
We set the intention to walk forward in life.
From the space of confidence.
Empowerment.
Peace.
Connection.
Self.
