This is a guided meditation to help you speak your truth safely,
Even when it feels scary.
Take a moment to arrive and settle.
You don't need to do anything.
You don't need to fix anything.
Just allow yourself to arrive here in this moment.
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Take a slow breath in through the nose and a long steady breath out through the mouth.
Again,
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
Let your body know you are safe right now.
Bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Notice your forehead.
Your eyes.
Your jaw.
If there's any tension,
You don't need to force it away.
Just soften around it.
Let your shoulders drop a little.
Let your chest gently open with each breath.
Bring awareness to your throat.
No need to change it.
Just notice.
Now,
Move your attention down into your belly.
Feel it rise and fall with your breath.
Down into your hips.
Your legs.
Your feet.
Imagine your body becoming heavier,
More supported by the earth beneath you.
Nothing to hold.
Nothing to prove.
Now imagine standing on a quiet beach.
The sky is blue and open.
The air is soft.
The sand feels steady beneath your feet.
In front of you is the ocean.
A deep,
Endless blue.
Notice how the sea moves.
It doesn't rush.
It doesn't apologise.
It doesn't hide its waves to keep the shoreline comfortable.
The ocean flows as it is.
Sometimes gentle.
Sometimes powerful.
Always true to itself.
The ocean reflects your voice.
Your throat.
Your truth.
Your way of expressing yourself in the world.
If you've ever felt afraid to speak.
Afraid of hurting someone.
Afraid of being misunderstood.
You are not alone.
Many of us learned very early on that keeping quiet felt safer than being honest.
That keeping the peace mattered more than telling the truth.
That our voice has consequences.
So if your throat feels tight,
Or your chest feels heavy,
Or part of you wants to pull back,
Just notice that.
No judgement.
This fear isn't here to stop you.
It's just here because it once tried to protect you.
As you stand by the ocean,
Gently ask yourself,
Is there something true inside me that wants to be spoken?
Not loudly.
Not dramatically.
Just honestly.
Is there a conversation you've been avoiding?
An inner feeling or knowing you've been carrying?
Just listen.
Let the ocean hold the question for you.
You don't necessarily need to answer right now.
Now imagine the ocean sending a wave towards you.
As it reaches your feet,
Feel a sense of courage rise with it.
Not the courage to be rude.
Not the courage to be harsh.
Not the courage to push or force.
But the courage to be honest.
To speak from your centre.
To trust that honesty,
When rooted in love,
Serves the highest good of all.
Silently repeat to yourself,
It is safe for me to speak my truth.
I can be honest and kind at the same time.
My voice matters.
Let those words land in your throat,
Your chest,
Your whole being.
Notice how the ocean continues to move.
Unattached.
Alive.
Free.
You don't need to have all the words yet,
My darling.
You don't need to know how every conversation will go.
You only need to stay connected to your truth.
One breath.
One sentence.
One moment of honesty at a time.
When you're ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to your body.
Feel the ground beneath you.
Feel the support around you.
Wiggle your fingers.
Wiggle your toes.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
Take this softness,
This courage with you.
This quiet knowing that when you speak from truth,
Even when it feels scary,
You are not doing something wrong.
You are coming home to yourself.
