You know you shouldn't go back to where things were,
But you don't know how to move forward.

Now you're waiting.
Waiting to feel ready,
Waiting for clarity,
Waiting for someone to tell you what to do.
I actually spent months there,
If not years.
And you know what?
Waiting is not healing.
This is literally just waiting.
This is where there's the biggest trap.
We wait for motivation.
We wait for the grief to go away.
We wait to feel like ourselves again.
And that moment never comes.
But,
But,
But,
But,
Actions come first.
Then the feelings follow after.
So in short,
You don't wait to feel confident before posting videos.
You're gonna post videos again and again until you do feel confident about it.
You don't wait to be in shape to go to the gym.
You go to the gym and then eventually you get in shape.
That's how it works.
Actions lead and then your emotions follow.
It's easy to get confused when it comes to self-love,
Choosing yourself.
We think it's about a feeling that we don't know how to,
How to feel,
But it's actually a decision.
Choosing yourself is a decision,
A decision that you can make at any time.
And honestly,
When you start,
It's very,
Very hard to go back.
It's in all these little moments that nobody else can see how you behave with yourself when you're alone and you're the only one that has that proof.
That's why it matters so much.
Choosing yourself can look like something very simple,
Like closing your laptop at 9 p.

Not necessarily because you need sleep and your body is craving it,
But just because that's it.
You're done.
It can be things as simple as saying no to things that actually do drain your energy.
In these unspoken moments,
Like sending that DM or that message,
Even if you're scared of rejection,
Starting that new thing that you're fearful of,
But that could actually bring you lots of joy and excitement.
Do these things that nobody else is there to witness how much you're terrified about.
The things that people can only see the final result from the outside,
But it's what's actually been done backstage that matters and that actually shapes you and your confidence and is the choice of you.
But the foundation of choosing yourself is really not necessarily being the hero of your own story and doing these big,
Massive things like go climb a mountain,
Although if you do it,
It's very nice and if you fancy that,
It's cool as well.
But it's really in those little details,
You know,
Being able to delay your first meeting in order to take your first 10 minutes of the day to be able to stretch and enjoy your tea or coffee or whatever gives you pleasure in the morning.
It's like these secret moments,
They do matter way more than we give them credit for.
And yeah,
This is how we build self-trust by giving ourselves the evidence we need whilst nobody else is watching.
So how exactly do you stop chasing and start choosing yourself?
Number one,
Take a little step back and a little break before you pursue,
Which means that every time you feel that urge,
That almost like this obsession,
Like in your body to explain yourself,
Send that extra text,
Over-analyse things and put things in order and justify yourself,
Just ask yourself,
Am I actually chasing something here or am I coming from a place of fullness,
Of completeness?
Cause that might be the moment where you need to,
Instead of chasing,
Sit with the discomfort,
Even if it's,
Well,
Uncomfortable.
Number two,
Do one thing that day that your future self will thank you for.
Yup,
You heard that right.
Do that thing that serves you.
Send that DM to give yourself that opportunity,
Go to bed on time,
Get that extra rest that you're craving for,
Do that one,
Just one action,
Focus on one.
You don't need to do ten things,
Just one is enough,
Just like you are,
You are enough.
Three,
Stop waiting to feel ready.
You don't feel ready,

It's through actions,
