So just make yourselves comfortable.

And just make any final adjustments to get yourself as comfortable as you possibly can.

Grab a blanket if you need to.

So just resting into the chair or the bed or the floor.

Allow yourself to settle here in this moment.

Give yourself permission to be here.

Nothing that needs done.

Nowhere that you need to go right now.

Just give your attention to now.

And just bring your attention to your body for a moment and just notice if there's any areas that you may be holding on to.

Any areas of stiffness or uncomfortable sensations.

And if there is,

Just breathe into those areas.

And in each out breath,

Just let go of the day.

Let go of any to-do lists,

What you might have planned for later.

Just pop it all to the side.

Just tuning into your body for a moment and just allowing it to naturally rest there.

And just taking a couple of breaths now.

Just going to breathe in deep into the belly.

And letting it go.

And do this a few times.

Just allowing yourself to sink a bit further into the space that you're sitting or laying.

I want you to imagine that you're standing in an open field just after sunrise.

And the air is cool and fresh.

And it's filled with the scent of dew and the sound of the birds greeting the day.

And before you,

A magnificent hot air balloon waits.

It's vibrant,

Inviting,

Gently swaying as the morning light touches its colours.

And this balloon represents your freedom,

Your healing and your readiness to rise above the weight that you've been carrying.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in.

And as you breathe out,

Step closer to the balloon.

Notice its basket.

Strong,

Steady and waiting for you to step inside.

You climb in,

Feeling completely safe and supported.

And inside there's everything you need.

Peace,

Comfort,

Stillness.

And the flame ignites above you.

Soft at first,

Then stronger,

Warmer,

Alive.

And the balloon begins to lift.

Slowly,

Gracefully.

And you feel the earth beneath you growing smaller,

More distant.

And with each gentle breath,

There's a sense of lightness begins to move through your body,

Through to your feet.

Your legs,

Your belly,

Your chest,

Your shoulders.

This lightness moves all the way up to the crown of your head.

And the air feels cool against your skin.

And the sky stretches endlessly around you,

Wide and open,

Holding you.

And you look down and notice sandbags tied to the side of the basket.

They're heavy,

Weathered.

And each one carrying something you've been holding for far too long.

One by one,

You reach down and untie them.

And as each sandbag drops,

You feel the shift.

A soft release in your chest.

A loosening in your shoulders.

And a gentle sigh moving through your body.

You watch them fall.

Drifting downward.

Becoming smaller and smaller.

Until they disappear into the distance below.

And each sandbag represents something you no longer need to carry.

Old stories.

Worries.

Self-doubt.

Regrets.

Expectations that were never yours to hold.

Emotional weight that once served a purpose,

But now only keeps you tethered.

And with every release,

The balloon rises higher.

The air feels lighter,

Your body feels freer.

And as you float gently upward,

Turn your attention inward.

Take a moment to connect with what you've been holding deep inside.

Perhaps the grief.

Sorrow.

The quiet ache.

Tenderness that's been living silently in your heart.

There's no need to fix it.

No need to analyse it.

No need to make it disappear,

Just notice it.

Simply breathe with it.

Let your breath wrap around it like a soft blanket.

Inhaling kindness.

Exhaling resistance.

Silently acknowledge it,

Whispering,

I see you.

I honour you.

You belong.

And allow yourself to feel whatever arises.

Without judgement,

Without story,

Just sensation.

Just presence.

Just truth.

As you continue floating,

Just notice how whatever you've been holding on to doesn't weigh the balloon down.

It doesn't stop your ascent.

It simply travels with you.

Held gently,

Not carried heavily.

And above you the sky opens wider still.

And below you the earth continues to soften and fade.

Feel the weight begin to lift.

Softly.

Tenderly.

As if the heaviness is dissolving into the sky.

The balloon feels lighter.

You feel lighter.

Breathe deeply as the balloon continues to rise higher into the clear open sky.

Up here you are free.

Feel that spaciousness.

The peace.

The lightness within you.

There's nothing to fix here.

Nothing to carry.

Nothing to prove.

Just you.

Open.

Expansive.

And free.

From this place of stillness and perspective.

Affirm silently or out loud.

I am free to rise.

I am safe to let go.

I am supported by life itself.

I am open to new horizons.

My heart is light.

My soul is free.

And feel these words vibrate through you.

Remembrance of your strength.

Your grace.

Your grace.

Your capacity to heal.

Now imagine the balloon gently beginning its descent.

Slowly returning to the earth below.

You touch down gracefully.

Grounded.

But lighter than before.

And when you step out,

You carry this peace and freedom with you.

A quiet knowing that you're no longer bound by what once was.

Taking a breath in.

And exhale with gratitude for the release.
