What should somebody do if you can feel in your heart that there's some kind of blockage or some kind of mental,
Emotional,
Physical manifestation of a blockage?
For example,
You're trying to breathe into the heart.
To open the heart,
To work with emotions because emotions are largely located in the heart space.
You try to bring the breath into the heart and you immediately notice that the breath goes shallow and there's more restriction.
Well,
The first thing I would say is this is very normal.
This is actually something that I experienced on my journey a long time ago.
So you have nothing to worry about.
It's totally normal.
Of breath that could be a physiological problem obviously check with your GP or your medical practitioner but in the in the grand scheme of spiritual development this this breathing into the heart space and the lack of it is a physical manifestation of a heart space dysfunction in Indian yogic philosophy it would be called the heart chakra blockage but without getting too woo-woo and I like to keep things quite spiritually scientific It just means that your heart is currently kind of frozen.
I look at it as like a frozen energy,
The energy of restriction and cold.
Again,
I'm going to reassure you,
This is normal.
You can work through it.
And chances are.

If you've begun meditating and if you've begun this process of inner work,
Journaling,
Shadow work,
Daily mindfulness.
You're going to have been moving through that chest space.
Anecdotally just to give you some context of me where i'm coming from when i was about 17 18 years old so quite a long time ago i recognized that my heart space was shut down I couldn't cry.
I physically couldn't cry and I just knew because I've always been in touch with my.

Body and mind that that was a problem i knew that i just couldn't feel i just couldn't feel anything in my heart so i can tell you firsthand that it's possible to change and it's possible to get this energetic system of the heart space back online and to get the breath moving through it more naturally and it will come so you need to have patience first let's talk about what causes this It's a variety of issues.
One issue that I want to pinpoint and go into is effectively the trauma of life everybody has some degree of trauma it can be small it can be medium it can be unfortunately big and severe what happens is the heart as well as being a primary major organ the heart is a very emotional it's an incredibly emotional space within you you give and receive from life through the heart space aka the lungs as well So it's symbolic of give and take.
Your interaction with the world around you.
The heart as an organ,
Emotionally,
Is incredibly sensitive.
It processes love,
It processes hate,
It processes.

Yes,
Different organs have different energies.
For example,
Traditional Chinese medicine will say that the liver and the gallbladder are to do with bitterness and resentment.
But the heart is like the king daddy of emotions.
It's the number one ground zero for emotional processing.
So if you're someone who's experiencing this heart shutdown,
There's been some kind of emotional trauma.
There's been several traumas probably.
And your heart as a protection mechanism.
Has turned down the volume,
It's turned down its functioning level.
It's frozen itself so that you don't have to feel as much.
Because at the end of the day,
All emotion,
All energy is a different density,
Is a different resonance.
And certain things could be damaging,
Couldn't they?
So it's part of the egoic mind to suppress and repress.
Anything that's too dense,
Anything that's too violent or aggressive.
To get through this.
What needs to happen is that you need to thoroughly continue this journey of connecting with your heart and processing processing your stuff You need to thoroughly,
With a dedication,
Go into the endeavor.
Do your meditation daily.
Continue to do your meditation daily.
Be really brave to breathe into difficult things.
When you breathe into these difficult,
Dense emotions,
When you solicit them,
When you bring them up.
Safely pragmatically and you breathe into them You see them with your awareness.
Your awareness is this incredible,
Powerful force connected to source energy,
God.
And when you put your awareness onto this density,
It begins to dissolve it.
And like any obstruction,
When obstructions are dissolved,
What happens?
You get flow.
You get flow again.
So this process,
If your heart is shut down truly about putting in the labor but also from a more esoteric point of view.
Make the decision I wanna be free.
I wanna feel again.
And if you have that sincere,
Surrendered request to the universe,
To nature itself,
To yourself,
To a loved one,
If you have a sincere surrendered request.
For positive change.
I can almost guarantee that things will start to move for you.
You'll start to meet the right people.
You'll start reading the right books all of a sudden.
YouTube will start recommending you certain videos.
You'll start finding certain teachers on Insight Timer and all the things will start to align for that heart to come back online.
So just keep at it.
Hold on to the desire to have a positive change in your heart space and it will happen.
