Welcome.
In this meditation,
We will explore energy centers in the body called chakras.
For the purposes of this meditation,
We'll focus on the seven chakras along the central energy channel,
From the base of the spine to the crown of the head.
Each chakra relates to an aspect of our being,
Whether physical,
Emotional,
Or spiritual.
When energy or prana is able to fully flow through the chakras,
We feel radiant,
Energized,
And balanced.
Our vision is clear and we have an overall feeling of well-being.
And sometimes,
Energy gets dense or imbalanced in a chakra,
Which can create feelings of discomfort,
Disconnection,
Or heaviness.
During this meditation,
Just bring awareness to those areas where you may be feeling some resistance or heaviness.
Just notice them without judgment.
Let's begin.
Come to your desired comfortable position.
It can be seated or lying down.
You're making yourself comfortable here.
If it feels okay to do so,
You can close your eyes and settle into your body.
And connect with your breath.
Feel the sensation of your in-breath and your out-breath.
And with every breath,
Feel your body soften and relax.
Now bring awareness to the base of your spine,
Your root chakra.
This is the center of safety,
Trust,
Security,
And stability.
Our root keeps us grounded.
Send your breath down to your root.
Inhale safety and stability.
Exhale fear and insecurity.
And silently or aloud,
Repeat the mantra,
I am safe.
I am safe.
Bring awareness to the low belly,
The sacral chakra.
This is the center of pleasure,
Creativity,
And connection.
Send your breath to your low belly.
Inhale a feeling of belonging.
Exhale feelings of separation or isolation.
Repeat the mantra,
I am connected.
I am connected.
Bring awareness to your mid-belly,
Your solar plexus.
This is the center of will,
Strength,
And confidence.
It is the fire in the belly that inspires action and transformation.
Send your breath to your solar plexus.
Allow your breath to ignite your inner fire and extinguish feelings of powerlessness.
Repeat the mantra,
I am worthy.
I am worthy.
Now bring awareness to the center of your chest,
Your heart chakra.
This is the center of love and compassion for others and for ourselves.
Send your breath into your heart space.
Inhale love and compassion for yourself.
Exhale send that love and compassion to others.
Repeating the mantra,
I am love.
I am love.
Bring awareness to the throat,
Your throat chakra.
This is your center of communication,
Expression,
And truth.
Breathing in deeply through the nose,
Opening the mouth to sigh it out,
Keeping the channels of the throat open.
Repeat the mantra,
I am truth.
I am truth.
Bring awareness to the space between the eyebrows,
The third eye chakra.
This is the center of intuition,
Vision,
And inner wisdom.
The third eye is the eye that looks within.
Take a moment here to turn your gaze inward.
Repeat the mantra,
I am intuitive.
I am intuitive.
Now bring awareness to the crown of your head,
The crown chakra.
The center of wisdom,
Universal consciousness,
And spiritual connection.
Take a moment to recognize your alignment with the universe and allow divine wisdom to flow through you.
Repeat the mantra,
I am enlightened.
I am enlightened.
Now as you breathe in,
Imagine a white light,
The base of your spine,
Traveling all the way up through each of the energy centers,
Purifying,
Moving any dense energy.
Take some time to just feel the energy flowing freely,
All chakras open.
We'll repeat our mantras one last time.
I am safe.
I am connected.
I am worthy.
I am love.
I am truth.
I am intuitive.
I am enlightened.
Take a full inhale through the nose.
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
You can stay in your meditation as long as you like.
And if you're ready to move on to whatever comes next,
You can deepen your breath.
Invite some gentle movement and open your eyes when you're ready.
Bring awareness back to your space.
