Releasing with the element water.
Find a comfortable position that can be lying down or sitting.
Close your eyes.
Just allow yourself to relax.
Just notice your body being supported,
Letting go of any tension.
Now take a nice long deep breath in through your nose and slowly and gently release that breath out of your mouth.
Take another deep breath in through your nose and gently breathe out through your mouth.
Letting go of any residual tension.
Take a final deep breath in filling your lungs and slowly breathing out through your mouth.
Now just allow your breath to go back to its natural rhythm,
Gently and easily breathing in and out,
No force no effort.
Feeling lovely and relaxed.
Imagine yourself now standing in an ancient woodland surrounded by trees.
They are tall and wide.
These ancient trees have been here for so long.
They have seen and absorbed the wisdom of many generations.
And as you look down these trees,
You can see their roots growing strong as they just go into the ground,
Into that beautiful earth that smells so rich.
And covering some of the earth there is moss and you can feel this moss under your feet.
It is soft and spongy and slightly damp to the touch.
And the color of this moss is the most beautiful green.
And as you look around,
You notice dappled light shining through the trees,
Scattering beautiful bright white light on the floor.
You are feeling drawn to walk towards the west into the woods.
And as you do,
You feel all the textures of the moss and the earth under your feet.
And you walk and you can smell all of the earth and the plants and it is a familiar grounding smell.
And now you come to an opening in the woods where there is a large pond of water.
And you come to the edge of the water and you notice how crystal clear this water is.
You can see all the way to the bottom and it is absolutely beautiful.
On the far edge of this pool of water,
You can see a small bird drinking from the water.
And you realize this water is safe to drink.
So you bend down and cup your hands to bring water to your mouth and drink.
You can feel the pure fresh taste of this water.
As it goes down your throat and into your body,
You can feel the energy flowing through you.
And you can feel the water is now calling you to step into it.
And you can see to the side that there is a shallow pebbly entrance into the water.
So you walk gently and carefully,
Feeling the warm water slowly go over your feet and move up your legs as you step further and further in and the water gets higher and higher.
This water is so inviting and so peaceful.
You decide to lay back into the water,
Allowing yourself to float,
To just be held by this pool of water.
You feel so relaxed and weightless.
You can feel the magic spirit of the water holding you,
Supporting you.
And as you're lying there,
You feel a shift,
A shift inside of you,
A cleansing,
A clearing in your body,
In your energy and in your mind.
Slowly letting go and releasing what no longer serves you.
This almost feels like a dream.
You can feel a deep inner healing.
Your intuition is growing stronger from deep within your soul.
You feel a wisdom from this water being absorbed into you,
Through your skin,
Through your energy field.
You are connecting deeply with the wise,
Ancient spirit of water and this water is helping you to release and let go of what no longer serves you.
Water holds memories and this pool of ancient water is sharing its wisdom with you right now.
As you are floating on this water,
Like the most beautiful lily pad,
A dragonfly lands on you.
This dragonfly brings a message.
And this message for today and for you right now is to be more like water.

Feeling truly grateful that you have experienced this interaction with the spirit of water.
You are feeling ready to leave this water and the woodland,
Taking all that you have experienced with you.
Take a deep breath,

Feeling the weight of your human body again,
Resting on the surface that you are sitting or lying on.
Feeling that energy coming into your body more and more as you feel more awake and aware of what's going on around you.
