Hello,
This is Raquel,
And today we're going to do a water meditation.
To be used for connecting with the element of water,
For cleansing.
And for having gratitude for water.
We're going to begin this meditation seated in a comfortable position.
If you're seated or lying down.
The most important thing is getting comfortable.
You can connect with the earth,
Sitting or laying down on the earth.
We're going to start by taking a deep breath in for four.
And then out for five,
Exhaling.
Out of the mouth.
Then taking a deep breath in for five.
Then exhale for six,
Releasing,
Letting any tension melt away.
And then inhale for five.
Breathing in the intention of connection to your body,
To the earth,
To water.
And then exhale for six,
Breathing out of the mouth.
Letting yourself release.
Intention melt away And then breathe in for six.
Connecting to your body,
To the earth,
To water.
And then exhale for seven.
Releasing any tension,
Letting any stress melt away.
Now I'm gonna have you imagine being in a body of water.
Body of water that makes you happy.
Maybe it's the beach,
A lake.
.
.
A pool.
Or even your bath.
A body of water that brings happiness and peace.
Listen to the sounds of the water,
The soothing vibration that it brings your body,
Your psyche,
Your soul.
Now I'm going to have you set an intention.
Something you'd like to release into the water.
A worry or a concern.
Think of what it is that you are ready to release.
Into this body of water.
Think of this worry or concern and imagine getting ready to go into the water.
Imagine getting into the water.
Feeling its softness.
Letting go of all that's worrying you,
All that's concerning you.
Letting it go into the water to be cleansed,
Washed away.
Mental,
Emotional,
Spiritual.
I think that's a cool party.
I've been seeing this concern,
This worry.
Into the water now.
I can't wash away.
Feeling the water's softness.
All right.
And take this moment to have gratitude for the water.
Water is life.
Water is vital.
Allow yourself to feel immersed in gratitude.
And connection to the water.
Potentially notice what you're releasing.
How you feel it in your body.
Any images or symbols that are associated with this thing that's causing stress and worry?
And imagine it being washed away into the water.
Thanking it for whatever lessons it taught you.
And that is the wrapping instruction.
Putting on some big bands.
Thank you.
I'm kicking it.
Water is so supportive.
It's so purifying.
It hits so much life force.
Make yourself feel.
Immersed in gratitude and connection and love for this place.
Whether it's the beach,
A lake.
Pool or your bath,
Just have gratitude for the space and the water and the support and the cleansing that it's brought you.
Get yourself to fully cleansed from whatever it is that you are having.
Put the water low.
Honor it.
And you're taking time to hear its wisdom.
Is there anything that the water would like for you to know?
While we're in this space.
I'll give you a minute.
To any of the water's wisdom.
If nothing comes to mind.
Just let yourself be.
Before we come back to the stage.
Now thank the water for all that it does.
To support life,
To support us,
To support the earth.
Brings so much nourishment and beauty.
And think of something that you can do to honor the water.
Today.
We did give it an offering of love and gratitude.
Maybe it's playing music at the water.
Singing for the water.
Cleaning any garbage that might be around the water at this place.
Showing it love and gratitude.
Once again,
Thanking the water.
We'll start to come back to this space.
I'll have you think of today's date.
Think of your age.
Your location,
Maybe imagine the room that you're sitting in as you come back.
Imagining your body and starting to move your body gently,
Wiggling your fingers and toes.
And when you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
I hope you enjoyed connecting with the water.
And listening to my sacred brattle,
My gourd given to me by my medicine woman.
And I thank you for your time.
I hope you enjoyed this meditation and feel free to come back anytime you want to connect with the water.
Yakoke.
Thank you.
