Hello and welcome.
Thank you for joining me for this guided meditation.
This is a meditation that I go to regularly when I just wish to settle myself for the day to come,
To ground myself and to be ready for whatever the day may bring.
I like to begin with a few deep,
Slow breaths,
Taking that breath in through the nose,
Allowing the abdomen to expand with the breath in.
And then on the exhale through the nose,
Allowing the abdomen to lightly contract.
We'll do that two or three more times.
Deep breath in,
The body expands with the breath.
And a slow exhale out,
The body gently contracts.
At least one more breath in through the nose,
Filling the body all the way up with air.
And then exhale,
Slow,
Gentle release.
Now bringing your awareness to your heart space.
I like to visualize that there is a doorway or an opening into the heart through which my breath may flow in and out.
This gentle flow of air through the heart space enlivens the heart space.
It helps to clear the heart space of any stagnant or stuck energy.
As you visualize the breath flowing in and out of the heart,
Feel the heart space lightening,
Clearing,
Becoming open,
Ready to greet this day.
And then bring awareness to your body as a whole.
And notice all of the points of connection between your body and the surface beneath you.
Feel those points of connection as grounding points.
This is what helps anchor you to the earth below.
And I like to visualize bringing or inviting beautiful earth energy to rise up,
Greeting those points of connection.
And then filling the body with beautiful earth energy.
In my own mind,
This energy is a beautiful golden green light.
For you,
It may be something completely different.
Whatever feels the best to you,
Whatever resonates with you most.
Welcome this nourishing,
Nurturing,
Grounding energy into the body,
Allowing it to fill the entire body,
Enlivening each and every cell with gorgeous,
Grounded,
Almost effervescent energy.
Helping you to feel like you are standing on a solid foundation,
Ready for anything that may come your way.
You are grounded and stable and alive.
Feel that beautiful light force energy within you.
Giving you the energy needed for whatever your day may bring.
Know that you can meet this day and any challenges or obstacles with a grounded,
Centered frame of mind and body.
Repeat to yourself,
I am grounded,
And I am ready to meet this day.
I am centered and aligned with my higher self.
I am capable and able to do hard and challenging things.
I am in alignment with my soul.
I am safe.
I am grounded.
I am resilient and courageous.
I am whole.
Now taking a deep full breath once more in through the nose.
This time open the mouth and sigh it out.
Once more deep breath in through the nose.
Exhale,
Open the mouth.
