Hi there and welcome to this meditation exercise focusing on energy and radiance brought to you by Sleepy Beans.
By the end of this short meditation we will feel more energized and ready for the day ahead.
Let us start by getting into a comfortable position whether that's lying down or sitting up.
If it feels right for you gradually close your eyes and let's begin.
Sometimes we might be having a day where we feel tired and lack energy.
We just need a moment to reset our minds and bodies so we feel a little bit more awake.
Imagine that you are sitting in a beautiful summer meadow.
It is filled with vibrant flowers matching all the colors of the rainbow.
The sky is a deep blue and the sun radiates warm orange hues sitting high above as the last of the clouds slowly drift away.
Can you hear the birds tweeting around you?
What about the light gentle breeze flowing through the tall grass?
Let's pause here for a moment and take in our surroundings.
Sunbeams down on the meadow illuminating the ground with a gorgeous golden glow.
As the sun's heat increases can you hear the sounds of crickets and insects begin to fill the air?
Let's do an exercise where we use the sun's rays to energize our bodies.
Allow yourself to absorb the sun's warmth and light as you breathe in through your nose.
Let the sun melt away any negative feelings that you may be holding on to.
As we exhale we are going to do a big stretch by raising our hands above our heads and bringing them down in a big circle.
Finally placing them by our sides or letting them sit loosely on our lap.
The sun makes you feel warm and cozy and the energy from its rays bubbles around your body.
Let's repeat this action once more.
Breathe in through your nose.
Holding here for a moment.
As you exhale raise your hands above your head and then bring them down in a big circle again.
Resting them by your sides or letting them sit loosely in your lap.
We hope this meditation has allowed you to feel restored and more awake and you can complete the rest of your day with a renewed brighter energy.
Now when you're ready slowly open your eyes and sit up in your own time.
