You've thought enough for one day.

You've held enough,

Tried enough,

Solved enough.

Now you're here and that means something.

This moment doesn't need you to carry anything.

You don't need to review it,

Understand it,

Or explain it to yourself.

You can stop thinking.

Not forever,

Just for now.

Let's begin with no effort at all.

Feel the outline of your body.

The warmth in your chest.

The shape of your hands,

Still and soft.

There's no tension to chase away.

No breath to control,

No posture to perfect.

You're already here.

Just feel it.

Thoughts will rise,

But they don't need answers.

Let each one arrive and pass like a bird crossing a quiet sky.

Bring attention back to your breath.

Not because you have to,

But because it's simple.

Inhale and exhale.

Let your body get heavier with each breath out.

Let your mind soften with it.

You're not falling asleep yet.

You're letting go of gripping the day.

Let that be enough.

Feel your jaw,

Unclenched.

Your brow,

Released.

Your stomach,

Loose.

Nothing to hold.

Nothing to fix.

Now,

Let go of even those instructions.

Be here without holding anything together.

Like a wave settling back into still water.

There's nothing more to think through tonight.

No loose ends to gather.

No next step to find.

Let your thoughts run dry.

Let them float off like mist.

Let this voice fade.

Let your own inner voice go quiet too.

You've given enough.

You can stop thinking.

Rest here.

Stay soft.

Be still.
