Close your eyes and take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose and gently exhale through your mouth Let your shoulders drop,

Let your body soften Right now you are safe,

Right now it is ok to pause I invite you to bring your attention to your breath The gentle rise and fall,

Steady and constant,

Like waves upon the shore No need to change it,

Simply notice Inhale and exhale,

Letting each breath carry away a little tension Now place your hand gently on your heart,

Feel its rhythm,

A steady reminder that life is flowing through you Whisper softly in your mind,

I am safe Imagine now roots extending from the soles of your feet,

Deep into the earth With every breath out,

You feel anxiety draining down through these roots released into the earth,

Where it is transformed With every breath in,

Feel calm,

Steady energy rising back up your roots into your body,

Filling you with stability and peace If anxious thoughts appear,

Don't push them away Instead,

Picture them as clouds passing across a wide open sky You don't have to chase them,

You don't have to hold them Just watch them drift until they dissolve Now imagine a soft golden light wrapping around you like a cocoon Warm,

Protective and safe Let this light soothe every part of you,

From your mind,

To your heart,

To your body Rest here for a few breaths,

Allowing yourself to be held in comfort Repeat once more,

I am safe Take a final deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Let go of any remaining tension Gently bring your awareness back to your body,

Wiggle your fingers and toes And when you're ready,

Open your eyes,

Carrying this calm with you into your day
