This embodiment meditation uses the imagery of a tree to help you find balance between grounding and expansion. You'll be guided to visualize roots extending from your feet deep into the earth with each exhale, while each inhale invites you to rise up through your spine like a tree trunk reaching toward the sky. This practice cultivates what the guide calls "grounded inspiration", the sensation of being both anchored and uplifted. Use this meditation when you need to feel simultaneously stable and spacious, connected to the earth while reaching toward possibility.
