Sit or lie down in a comfortable position,
Close your eyes,
And take a deep breath in through your nose,
Then exhale slowly through your mouth.
Allow your body to relax and your mind to settle as you focus on God's presence.
Bring to mind one or two moments from your day that you're thankful for.
It could be something small like a kind word,
Or a good moment,
Or maybe even something bigger.
Whisper a soft thank you,
Lord,
As you reflect on his blessings throughout your day.
Lay quietly and focus on your breath as we reflect on this verse.
Matthews 11.
28 Come to me,
All who are weary and burdened,
And I will give you rest.
Imagine laying your burdens at the feet of Jesus.
Feel the weight lifting off your heart as you surrender the challenges of your day to him.
Let's give a quick thank you prayer as we focus on our breath and feel our bodies relaxing.
Lord,
Thank you for being with me through this day.
I give you my success,
My struggles,
And my worries.
I pray that you fill my heart with peace and renew my spirit as I rest.
Please watch over me tonight and guide me to wake up tomorrow with energy and purpose.
