Welcome.
Take a moment to settle into stillness.
Let your body soften.
Unclench your jaw and gently drop your shoulders.
Now I want you to inhale slowly through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth.
One more time.
Take a slow inhale deeply through your nose and release it slowly.
Next,
We're going to breathe with some prayers.
I want you to just listen to the prayers as I guide you.
I want you to inhale.
Lord,
I come to you.
And now exhale.
I release my worries onto you.
Listen to these words from 1 Peter 5-7.
Cast all your anxieties onto him because he cares for you.
Now I want you to let that truth settle and to let it calm you.
What are you carrying that's heaviest right now?
Is it uncertainty about the future or maybe the past?
Is it something that you can't control or maybe even a fear or anxiety that you just can't quiet?
Now I want you to picture yourself placing that burden into God's hands.
Now I want you to imagine God holding what you released steady,
Capable,
And loving.
Nothing you gave him is too heavy and nothing you feel is too small for him.
Now I want you to breathe in his peace and his calm and the way he holds you.
And breathe out any uncertainty or anxiety you may have.
Philippines 4-6-7 tells us,
Do not be anxious about anything and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your heart and your minds in Jesus Christ.
I want you to receive that peace now the way that he's here to hold you,
To help you,
And understand you.
Now we would like to invite you to do a closing prayer with me.
Dear Lord,
You see what I cannot control and you hold what overwhelms me.
Teach me to trust you with what I release today.
Fill me with your peace not because my circumstances are uncertain but because you are certain.
Now I want you to return gently.
I want you to take a deep breath in through your nose,
One,
Two,
Three,
And out through your mouth for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
I want you to wiggle your fingers slowly.
And whenever you're ready,
Open your eyes and just remember you're not carrying this day alone.
I really appreciate the listen and I ask that you leave a review if you enjoyed it or if it brought you any peace.
Thank you.
