In this meditation,
We explore a calming practice to welcome the gentle rhythm of the autumn season.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
Gently close your eyes and allow your body to settle.
Take a deep breath in and exhale slowly.
Let yourself arrive fully in this moment.
Imagine the soft colors of autumn around you,
The golden leaves,
The stillness of the air,
The warmth of the low sun.
This is your time to release any worries or tension and gently allow yourself to slow down.
Silently repeat,
I allow myself the gift of slowing down.
I allow myself to savor the quiet and the warmth within.
I allow myself to simply be.
Now bring your attention to your body.
Notice the points where your body makes contact with the surface beneath you.
Feel the support holding you.
Scan your body gently from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
Notice any areas of tension or discomfort and let them soften.
With each exhale,
Release any stress.
With each inhale,
Invite ease and warmth into your body.
Notice the rise and fall of your chest,
The gentle flow of air through your nostrils.
Imagine each inhale drawing in the crisp autumn air,
Filling you with a gentle sense of calm.
With every exhale,
Let go of what you no longer need.
Picture yourself walking through a serene autumn forest.
Leaves of gold,
Amber,
And red drift gently to the ground around you.
Hear the soft rustle of the leaves,
The quiet whispers of nature.
Feel the calm of the season settling into your mind.
Take a moment to silently repeat to yourself,
I welcome the calm of this season.
I release what no longer serves me.
I am present.
I am at peace.
Allow these words to resonate with each breath.
Imagine them flowing through you,
Grounding you,
Bringing a sense of ease and balance.
Begin to bring your awareness back to the room.
Wiggle your fingers and toes gently.
Notice the sensations of your body and the support beneath you.
When you are ready,
Gently open your eyes and welcome the peaceful autumn around you.
Let this season bring balance and a sense of ease that stays with you.
May it nurture your spirit and guide you with its soft,
Peaceful energy.
