Hello and welcome to the three pillars of Reiki.
This is Adriana Rene Velez,
Your favorite Reiki master teacher and creator of Star and Stone Academy of Ancient Energy Healing Arts and feminine energy mentor.
I'm sharing these pillars with the intention of creating an understanding of the essence of Reiki and some things to look forward to when receiving a treatment.
And while listening,
You may start to feel the energy activate in your field,
Which can often feel like this warm tingling sensation or just a gentle comforting energy.
So relax,
Enjoy,
And just let this wash over you.
So Reiki is simply pure energetic life force or spiritual energy.
And personally,
I imagine it as this fresh chi,
Like this wild and free running river of life force energy running through my body or running through my client.
And one thing that's important to know is that Reiki is not the energy of your practitioner.
So Reiki is again,
The pure energetic life force.
And because it is intelligent,
Pure life force energy,
It always knows exactly where you need the most healing support and intention.
So it will always organically find its way to where you need the most support.
So rest assured,
You always receive exactly what you need most when working with Reiki.
And that will change from treatment to treatment because we are dynamic beings and we are ever evolving and expanding.
So I found that people have a hard time describing Reiki and what it does because it's essentially explaining the great mystery,
Right?
So the benefits are infinite and I'm not going to necessarily go through those in this audio.
Rather,
I want to share with you my personal experience and the three themes that I find always sort of come up in each treatment.
And I've been working with this energy for about 25 years.
So let's move on to pillar number one.
So pillar number one is nervous system restoration.
So Reiki is always going to put you in the parasympathetic nervous state.
And what that is,
It's essentially the rest and digest state.
So it takes us out of any sort of trauma response,
Which could be fight or flight,
Freeze or fawn and into just this gentle relaxation,
Into deep,
Deep peace.
And when the body is finally able to let go of defense and relax,
It naturally starts to heal itself.
And you often hear of these miraculous healings taking place with Reiki and sound healing because the body is finally able to relax and restore itself.
This is so,
So important to understand with the healing journey.
You know,
So many of us are in some sort of adrenal system fatigue and or trauma response,
You know,
Low level or high level trauma response.
And that really creates a distortion in our energetic field.
And it doesn't allow our body the full capacity to heal and regenerate itself.
So again,
Pillar number one is deep,
Deep nervous system restoration and peace.
I always find that people immediately go into this state of relaxation and peace.
And I often hear people report that it feels like they're floating or they're in between,
You know,
That dreaming and waking and that they feel this warm tingling sensation.
They feel and see a light and they feel held,
They feel comforted.
So pillar number two is that it starts to clear out what I call psychic debris or psychic scar tissue.
Every treatment is like this beautiful purification,
This deep,
Deep energetic cleansing.
And so we're all born with that same wild and free running river of chi,
Of prana that I mentioned earlier.
And then life gets a hold of us.
We have traumas and family experiences and experiences with school and accidents and you name it.
And what happens is these little traumas,
These challenges,
These patterns that start to occur,
Create dams of energy and that wild river of life force.
And that is why you hear people talk about so often,
I feel stuck.
I feel stuck or I feel stagnant.
I have these dreams,
But I'm not able to act on them.
I can't seem to get out of this loop.
I keep creating the same patterns or I keep attracting the same situation,
Right?
There's all this like this dam of psychic debris in the body and all these different places in our body.
And we just were never taught how to take the energetic trash out,
How to access our chi.
And so with Reiki,
You are in essence cleansing and clearing all of that psychic debris.
It's almost immediate once the energy starts to move and flow.
And so then you get to experience your wild and free running river of life force again.
And it can be really relaxing,
But it can also be very energizing because all of this energy is now liberated,
Right?
And it all depends on what you need most at that time.
You always receive what you need most in each treatment.
And so pillar number three is really the poetry of Reiki.
And it is why Reiki is my main modality and why I always return to it to give and receive the deepest healing.
As that Reiki is always going to return you to your true nature,
To your original self,
To that self that is beyond that scar tissue,
The trauma,
The conditioning,
The patterns,
The programming.
And you in turn are going to feel more free.
You're going to feel more like yourself,
Like coming home to who you are,
To this true,
True nature.
And when we are aligned with who we really are beyond the ego,
We naturally make healthier choices.
We feel lighter,
We feel happier,
We feel supported,
And we realize that there's actually nothing to fix within us.
There's nothing inherently wrong with us.
We return to our original state of wholeness and to our own great bright light.
And you often hear Reiki referred to as the great bright light.
So I hope this was helpful.
I hope this gives you a deeper understanding of what Reiki can start to open within you.

True nature.
