Hi,

So it's day 13.

World Kindness Day is also today.

And so what I love about days like this is that they serve as gentle reminders for us to be kind every day.

And so the journal prompt today is very similar to one a few days ago,

Which is the Random Acts of Kindness,

Right?

Today I want you to journal just a few ideas down that of things that you can do to be kind to someone else,

Someone specifically that may be less fortunate than you.

While this time is a wonderful time of year,

It's full of joy,

Festivities,

All of those good things,

It's also a time where there's so many people who are struggling with,

You know,

Seasonal affective disorder,

Or maybe homeless,

Or maybe going without this year.

You never really know,

People are,

There are people who are struggling outwardly.

And then there are those who are actually going through internal battles.

And again,

You just never really know.

And I think it's important that we are kind to anyone who crosses our path,

Because again,

You don't know what someone else is going through.

And so gratitude is not just about,

Oh,

I'm grateful for x,

Y,

Z.

It's also about sometimes being the reason that someone else can be grateful.

So as you're thinking of things that you can do to help someone else around this time of year,

Or just in general,

I want you to choose an idea and actually try to do it over the next couple of weeks.

Help someone,

Whether you're volunteering at a shelter,

Or you're helping a friend who you know may be struggling with mental health challenges,

Whatever it may be,

Think of something that you can do to help someone over the next few weeks.

Journal down a few of those ideas,

And then choose one or two or more,

At least one to actually do over the next couple of weeks.

So I will leave you with that,

And I will see you in the next video.
