So I'm going to take you through a really beautiful breath meditation today called Chandra Bhedana.
And Chandra means moon in ancient Sanskrit language.
So the moon represents the divine feminine and this breath is to help you come into a calm receptivity.
So,
First of all,
As always,
Make yourself as relaxed and comfortable as possible.
You can do this lying down or seated.
And if you're seated.
Heavying and snuggling your sit bones into the chair beneath you.
Growing your spine.
Relaxing your shoulders.
So we'll bring our right hand up to our face.
And what we're going to do is block off the right nostril and we're going to breathe in through the left nostril.
And then out through the right nostril and that's going to activate the left channel.
The moon channel which is related directly to our divine feminine nature.
So if you'd like to join me,
We're going to breathe in for a count of six through the left nostril only.
Block off the left and breathe through the right.
We'll do that nine more times together,
Breathing in through the left.
Count of six And breathe out the right to a count of six.
And softening your whole face as you continue to breathe.
Breath count may be different than mine and that's perfectly fine but I'm on my fifth round now.
Moving through a few more rounds,
Softening your belly,
Your hips,
Your thighs.
And I've got three more rounds.
Maybe already you can feel how this is impacting the mind.
Calming,
Slowing,
Nurturing.
Okay,
That was my final round,
But you continue on until you've reached 10.
It's okay if you've lost count.
About now.
Or in one or two breaths is a perfect place to stop.
And then keeping your eyes closed if that feels comfortable.
Absorbing the afterglow of that breath,
Noticing how your body feels,
How your mind feels.
If you've noticed any shifts in your energy.
And that is a really quick,
Simple way to bring you back home to your feminine nature,
Which is calmer,
More receptive,
More expansive,
And helps to conserve energy rather than expend energy.
So I will see you very soon.
Thank you for joining me.
