Sit comfortably,
Breathe deeply,
And close your eyes.
Allow your attention to drift within.
Imagine a soft blanket being placed around your shoulders.
Breathe out and breathe in.
Feel everything slowing down.
Wrap yourself in peace.
Wrap yourself in kindness.
You are worthy of this quiet moment.
You are worthy of this time to rest.
You are the morning mist rising on the water.
You are the sunlight shining through the trees.
Give yourself a few moments to relax,
Dream,
And breathe.
To bring yourself gently out of meditation,
Rub the palms of your hands together.
Softly blink open your eyes and take a sip of your tea.
Now from this place of calm and stillness,
Pick up your journal and open to a fresh page.
At the top of the page,
Write,
What does my heart want me to know today?
Enjoy writing freely and openly with no judgment or control.
