Welcome to the Pillar of Light Meditation.
I invite you to allow your body to be relaxed and at the same time alert.
You can be sitting on the floor or in a seat,
A couch.
And in this moment,
As you allow your eyes to close,
Begin to become aware of your spine.
And feeling an alignment growing in your spine as you feel a thread pulling you up from the top of your head.
Allowing your shoulders to relax,
Your jaw,
All of these different movements to communicate to your body to be still and open as you connect consciously with your breath.
Beginning with this simple awareness of the breath.
Following the breath as it moves in and out.
And as you breathe in,
Notice the energy that enters your body.
This life force,
Prana,
Energy.
And you can begin to recognize that energy as light being activated within you.
Welcoming the light within you.
Welcoming this life force.
And we'll open into our meditation together.
Repeating the sacred mantra,
Om,
Six times.
And I invite you as you repeat the mantra to allow your mouth to open wide and really feel that you are vibrating your whole field,
Your whole body is vibrating with the sacred energy of this mantra of creation.
We'll take a deep breath to begin together.

Continue taking a few deep conscious breaths.
With each breath,
Allow your awareness to move into your heart.
In that restful place in your chest,
In the center of your heart.
Relax.
Being present deeper and deeper.
Welcoming the breath.
Allowing yourself to expand your awareness.
And move higher and higher to the crown,
To the top of your head.
With each breath,
Imagine yourself breathing in the top of your head.
Opening with each breath to the great light.
The bright light.
Yes.
Welcome it with your breath.
With each breath there is an awareness of this bright,
Bright light descending.
As if the sun is shining upon you and this bright rays of light.
Pouring down.
Illuminating.
Washing.
Taking a deep breath.
And the breath even expands the light.
A brighter light.
Welcome.
Welcome it with your heart.
Yes.
This beloved light.
Welcome it joyously into the cell.
It's washing,
Descending deeper into the body.
Into each and every cell.
And the cells are soaking brighter and brighter.
Vibrant more and more with this bright light.
The heart rejoices and as more and more joy expands.
Have your attention and intention expanding this light.
Brighter from the cells,
From your heart.
It's shining more and more around your physical body.
Another deep breath.
Imagine this bright light in each breath creating a column of light.
A column of light surrounding all around you.
Above you,
Below you.
Shining column of light.
Yes.
Another breath.
And in this breath expand and activate this bright light.
Call it to be more and more powerful.
Brighter and brighter.
Allow yourself for a moment to experience this bright column of light.
This bright pillar of light that you are right now.
The strength,
The illumination,
The presence.
Yes,
I am a pillar of light.
This pulsating,
Powerful light within us.
We're going to energize that even more through our breath work.
Using the breath to open up the energetic channels of our being.
So that this light can flood through us.
And can wash our minds,
Our emotions,
Our bodies,
Our entire energy field.
With this pure light.
We're going to have our hands in a position with the thumbs over the nail of the pointer finger.
And all the other fingers outstretched.
Our palms are facing up.
And the hands can be gently resting on your lap,
On your knees.
The elbows are slightly bent.
And the entire focus of this breath will be on a powerful exhale.
Contracting the abdomen in as you breathe out through the nose.
And then we allow the inhale to just naturally happen.
All of the focus is on the exhale.
And the more that we give to this practice,
The more that is energized within us.
So for this one,
Two minutes of practice,
I invite you to give yourself fully.
With passion and discipline to energize the light.
Let us begin.
Finding that steady rhythm of the breath.
Exhaling through the nose as you powerfully contract the abdomen inward.
Imagine as you exhale,
You're expelling whatever contracted energy,
Whatever stuck energy,
Stagnant.
And breathing in fresh life force as light.
A little faster now.
Feel that light being activated within you with every breath.
And just ten more seconds,
Breathing as fast and powerful as you can.
And now relax the breath.
If you wish,
You can take a deep,
Full breath and hold the breath for a few seconds.
Feel that activation within you,
The light within you.
Exhaling gently as you need to.
Keeping the body very still,
Relaxed,
Alive.
As you expand and expand in your inner experience.
Thoughts may come,
It's okay.
Allow them to come,
Allow them to drift and bring back your awareness to the breath.
Stillness deep within.

The space around you.

Gently you may take another breath and move the body a little bit,
Stretch.

Full of gratitude,
Gently allow yourself to open your eyes.
