Everyone.
My name is Nola Bloom.
Today I'm going to be sharing a meditation called Awakening Your Inner Light,
And this is a meditation for clarity and renewal.
So go ahead and find yourself a comfortable seated or lying down position,
Somewhere where you just feel supported,
And just allow yourself to fully arrive.
Allow yourself to just settle and relax.
Allow the breath to become full,
But remain feeling natural.
Wherever you are in the world right now,
Morning,
Evening,
Or night,
Just feel yourself connecting to your inner light.
There's nothing to fix,
Nothing to prove,
Nowhere else to be.
This is your time to simply be.
The light of dawn exists even before the sun rises.
Just as your inner radiance exists in the moments of uncertainty,
The world outside may be shifting,
Changing,
Or unpredictable,
But within you,
There is a light that never fades,
A quiet radiance that is untouched by external circumstances.
And today,
We will remember that light.
So begin by softening through your jaw.
Relax your shoulders back and down,
And let your belly soften.
Take a deep breath through the nose,
And sigh it out through the mouth.
Doesn't that feel nice?
Another big breath in,
Spacious and luminous.
And as you exhale,
Let go of any tension or weight that you've been carrying.
Allow your breath to find its natural rhythm.
Notice the gentle wave-like motions of the inhales and the exhales,
A reflection of the ocean's eternal rhythm.
With each inhale,
Welcome a radiant light.
With each soft exhale,
Release tension.
Now bring awareness to the space of your heart,
That tender,
Luminous center at the core of your being.
Imagine a soft glow resting there.
At first,
It may feel like a tiny spark,
The flame of a single candle in a dark room.
Now breathe into this space,
And feel the light growing softly.
Warm,
Radiant,
And alive.
Each breath feeds the flame.
Each exhale clears away the dust that hides it.
You might softly whisper,
With every breath,
I return to my life.
With every breath,
I come home to myself.
Allow yourself to feel this light expanding through the chest,
Through the shoulders,
Down the arms,
Through the palms,
Until the entire upper body feels bathed in gold and warmth.
Now let that light begin to travel.
It moves down the spine,
Illuminating each energy center,
Restoring balance and vitality.
Feel it flow into the belly,
A place of intuition and strength.
Sense it melting away any heaviness,
Replacing it with trust.
Then down the hips,
Legs,
Anchoring you deeply into the earth.
You are grounded,
Supported,
And connected to life itself.
From this steady foundation,
The light rises again.
Up through the spine,
Into the throat,
Opening expression and truth.
Then into the brow,
The third eye awakening clarity and vision.
Finally,
The light reaches the crown of the head,
Where it merges with the great light of the universe,
The infinite radiance that connects us all.
Breathe here for a few moments.
Sensing yourself as both grounded and luminous,
A bridge between the earth and the sky.
And now let this light illuminate the deeper parts of you,
The spaces that feel uncertain,
Tired,
Or in transition.
You don't need to fix anything.
Simply allow your awareness to soften around whatever rises.
Sometimes life asks us to pause,
Not as punishment,
But as preparation.
The light is still there,
Even when the path ahead is unclear.
This is the dance between Aparigraha and Ishvara Pranidhana.
Release and trust the surrender that opens us to grace.
Trust that what seems paused or lost is only shifting form.
The same light that guides the sun each morning is guiding you home now.
And just tuning into your heart once more.
Notice what is arising.
Any thoughts,
Feelings,
Emotions.
Just sitting with anything that's arising.
Not judging.
Not analyzing.
Simply witnessing what is there.
Take your hand,
Just place it over your heart.
You feel that beating in there?
That is your prana,
Your life force energy.
Moving through your body.
You are here.
You are alive.
And you are radiant.
Breathe into the space.
Feel your heart just lifting a little with each breath.
Any thoughts that are arising.
Just watch them.
And allow them to dissolve back into the light.
Just breathe and be.
Your light continues to expand.
Through your body.
Through your being.
Through your emotions.
And just rest here in this radiant awareness.
For a few more breaths.
Feel your breath deepening once more.
Feel your body once again.
And the weight of your body supported by the earth beneath you.
And notice how the light within you now feels.
Perhaps it's a little brighter.
A little softer.
Or perhaps more known.
Take another big breath in.
And as you exhale,
Feel yourself gently bowing inward.
A gesture of gratitude.
For your own courage to pause.
To trust.
And to shine.
May this light continue to guide you.
Through change.
Through stillness.
And through all the cycles of becoming.
May your light ripple from your heart into the world.
Illuminating all that you touch.
People.
Places.
Experiences.
Illuminated by your radiant touch.
And slowly bringing yourself back from the meditation.
Softly opening your eyes.
Taking in the room around you.
