Hi and welcome to Be Good to Yourself Meditation.
I am Brandon,
A certified immersive meditation guide and coach.
Today is day two of the Gratitude and Inner Stillness series.
Start to get into a comfortable seated position.
You are here today to be in love with life and all it has to offer.
Make sure that your phone is on silent so no one disturbs you.
If you need a note on the door to tell anyone not to come in,
Make sure you have a journal and pen,
Some hydration,
And anything to make you comfortable,
A bolster,
A blanket,
Anything to make you comfortable in the best way.
And as you continue to get comfortable in your seated position,
Begin to flow the breath in through the nose,
Visualizing the breath moving up your spine and pausing at the top of your head and just holding it here for a moment.
And when you are ready,
Take an audible exhale out of your mouth like you're fogging up a window.
And again,
In through your nose,
Breathing up your spine,
The back of your neck,
The back of your head,
Till you rest at the top of your head,
Holding your breath.
And when you're ready,
Exhaling out your mouth,
Letting everything go.
And one more time on your own,
Beginning to come into this place for you,
For you today.
And now bring your breath to in through your nose and out through your nose,
Starting to slow the breath down into a rhythm that is comfortable for you.
Today,
You love and appreciate the life you have been given.
Notice your forehead muscles relax.
Your scalp tingles as it let go.
The corners of your eyes ease,
Melting the muscles in the bridge of your nose down into your cheeks as they release.
And dropping your jaw slightly open,
Just letting it be loose.
You have little things flutter into your mind of today's to do's or yesterday's thoughts.
Just see them and let them float on by.
Bringing your breath back and begin to breathe in right and breathe out here.
Letting yourself be right here.
Breathing in right and breathing out here.
Notice your shoulders drop away from your neck,
Freeing any tension.
Your arms and hands become heavy at your sides.
You feel your body relax into your seated position.
Breathing in right and breathing out here.
Now bring your breath to focus on your heart space.
Really feel the breath in your chest surrounding your heart.
Breathing in right,
Breathing out here.
You are right here in this moment for you.
You breath is slow and steady.
Breathing around your heart.
Your body is at ease.
Just right here in this moment.
And as you see today,
Tomorrow,
The next year,
There's so much beauty in the moments you experience.
Envision yourself stepping out of your house into the daylight.
The sunlight is shining just for you.
Enveloping you with love.
Enveloping you with a sense of safety to be right here.
Feel that warmth melt over you and into you.
Find yourself grounding into wherever you stand.
Feeling your feet plant into the earth.
Taking in a deep breath of fresh air.
Feeling the high it creates and letting a gentle smile fade over your face.
You get the privilege to be in another day,
Another moment to live life to its fullest.
To breathe in so much love for all that surrounds you and give grace to what doesn't serve you.
Only you can choose what you do with your time.
And right now,
You are right here.
Embracing the sunlight.
See all the little things that surround you that make you feel warm and appreciative.
Feel the sensations of activities that bring you fulfillment.
It is time to have a love affair with life.
To bring gratitude to all that surrounds you.
To all the opportunities you are given.
To the choices that are yours and no one else's.
You are a blessing to everyone around you.
And as you stand outside your door,
You know it is a new day.
There is so much that you can be in love with,
That the hiccups in daily life don't have to trip you up.
You know you can approach life with calm intuition and that you will be guided to overcome because you can embrace what is good is there.
There is always a bright light in any ugliness.
There is always possibility within any challenge.
You embrace what is thrown at you because in life,
There's so much to love and so much to appreciate.
My voice will be quiet as you stand just outside your door in the sunlight,
Seeing the love in the life you live.
The bringing yourself back to the sound of my voice.
Begin to take in deeper inhalations.
Coming back to right here.
Right where your body is.
Remembering anything you saw.
Anything that you felt.
As you are grateful for the life you have.
Begin to wiggle your toes,
Opening and closing your hands.
Maybe stretch,
Yawn.
Just letting your body come back to where you are.
Today,
You will have a renewed energy towards life.
The choice is yours to embrace all that life has to offer.
Begin to slowly open your eyes when you are ready.
And take time for you to journal anything that came up.
There is not a right or wrong way to journal.
Just let it all out.
Even if it's just simply drawing a heart.
You are in love with life.
