So,
Seated or lying down.
And again,
By simply finding our breath.
So,
Notice that you're breathing.
You might notice that you're inhaling and exhaling through your nose or mouth.
And you may also notice your belly and your ribs moving as you inhale and exhale.
And again,
By simply finding our breath.
And then we'll bring our attention to our heart.
So maybe imagine that space as a white light in the center of your chest.
That doesn't work any other color or way that you want to picture your heart space that comes to you naturally is absolutely fine.
And to help with this,
We're going to inhale and open our arms.
So you can open your hands and arms to the sides as you inhale.
And then exhale,
Bring your right hand over your heart and your left hand over your right.
So we're inhale,
Opening our arms and exhaling,
Drawing the attention to the center of our chest.
Right hand to the center of your chest and left hand over your right.
Find a little bit of rhythm with this.
Exhaling,
Opening,
Feeling the heart space and then exhaling,
Drawing your attention to your heart.
And next time you exhale,
Just leave your hands on your heart.
And we'll be quiet for a few minutes and simply bring your attention to that white light or that orb or that area in your heart space.
And with your hands on your heart,
Let's just see if we can bring our attention there and let it softly focus in that space.
Okay.
Let's see if we can bring our attention to that white light or that area in your heart space.
Okay.
Good.
Good.
Good.
Good.
Good.
Good.
Good.
Good.
Now with your hands on your heart and your attention gently sitting in the heart space,
We're going to allow the presence or image or thought of somebody that is no longer with us to be there,
Somebody we'd like to contact or feel a connection with.
And anyone you choose would be fine.
We're going to allow them and picture them in our heart space.
And for some of us,
That might be the actual image of them.
Imagine that image right in your white light heart space.
For some of us,
It might be a feeling of presence or vibration of that person.
And for some of us,
You might say that person's name as we keep our attention gently on our heart space.
In any of those ways,
Bring the person into your heart.
Imagine the light of your heart enveloping them and them being part of you.
And as you do this,
You're welcome to keep your hands on your heart if it's helpful.
You're also welcome to allow your hands to fall into your lap or to your sides if you're lying down.
It's okay to internally speak to this person by saying,
Hello,
You're welcome here.
And internally smile to them.
Let's all see if we can have a sense of acceptance and connection with this person and our heart space at the same time.
And then we'll sit with this awareness for a few minutes,
Bringing the person into your heart space.
And if any thoughts,
Feelings,
Sensations arise,
Simply notice them and accept them as part of the process of allowing yourself to be the presence and thoughts of this person in your body,
In your chronic body,
And in your heart body.
And let's wait till they die.
