Welcome!
I'm Candy Foster,
And I am an intuitive and a channel,
And I pull a card for The Collective each day.
Each month I choose a different deck,
And this month I've chosen the Yuletide Tarot from Christopher Hughes.
If you have not followed me yet,
Be sure to do so,
As you will get notifications every day when the daily reading is released,
Along with any other meditations,
Reiki sessions,
Etc.
,
That I have put out.
Thank you for joining,
And I hope you enjoy!
Okay,
So today we have a Jumper.
Our original card is Four of Gifts,
And our Jumper card is Ace of Gifts,
Reversed.
Four of Gifts.
Profit,
Isolation,
Greed,
Financial Success.
There is little of the manifested joys of the season in this card.
The Fours contain an earth-like quality,
But here we see the energy making itself manifest.
This is materialism in its unadulterated form.
Being successful is one thing.
Putting a little money aside for a rainy day is sensible,
But it is a fine line between thriftiness and hoarding,
Giving and greed.
The figure in the chair holds the gifts that he bought close to his chest.
He bought them with someone in mind,
But he just cannot bring himself to give them away.
They are better if they stay with him.
They may well be an investment that might bear fruit one day.
There is a hint of Ebenezer Scrooge in this figure.
He is the miser,
The one who hides beneath reams of sensible action,
Saving for a future that might never come.
Shared wealth is wealth indeed,
And this is the season for sharing.
A lesson this character desperately needs to relearn.
The Divination Meaning of this card.
You may have found yourself in a position of good fortune,
And money and success has come your way.
You have put some aside,
But have you also become a little obsessive about the accumulation of material goods and money?
It may well be that you have become so secure in your insecurity that you find meaning only in possessions rather than sharing.
This card asks you to evaluate the value that you place on things,
Bearing in mind that they are only things.
Money in particular is energy in perpetual motion.
Keep it still for long enough,
And it will stagnate and wither.
Check your finances,
Check your investments,
And look closely at the relationship you have with them.
All right,
And our jumper card is Ace of Gifts Reversed.
Root of the Powers of Earth.
Abundance.
Money.
Prosperity.
Imagine waking up one winter morning and finding a large,
Perfectly wrapped gift sitting on your front doorstep.
You have no idea what is in it or who might have sent it.
This card represents the imminent arrival of abundance and promise.
It holds within it the sense of anticipatory excitement of the season,
For within this gift is the potential for all the gifts that might be bestowed upon you this midwinter.
Whilst it is tempting to consider that the gift represents only worldly or material things,
There is more to this card than meets the eye.
Sometimes the smallest of gifts fills our hearts the most.
Something created or made with profound love and good intention has the ability to utterly transform a moment or a situation.
So the reversed meaning of this?
You have focused your energy on material abundance alone.
The stresses of the season can often derail a person who is trapped in its material illusion.
Know that the true meaning of gifts is what you give of yourself,
Not how much you might spend.
Be the gift that someone needs you to be.
You are worth more than the credit card limit.
So that's a very profound message today.
Very much reminding us to be aware of our materialism,
Which is all around us in this world,
And really looking to those more earthly,
More spiritual gifts instead of the physical gift-giving,
The spending.
I hope this message was helpful for you today.
Namaste.
