I am a channel and an intuitive, and I pull a card every day for the collective. Each month. I chose a different deck to work with, and this month, I have chosen The Yuletide Tarot by Kristopher Hughes. Each day a message is shared to assist the collective on their journey as physical beings on a spiritual path. Though this reading takes place in December, know that I intend you will find it when it is most pertinent to you. Namaste.

Welcome!

I'm Candy Foster,

And I am an intuitive and a channel,

And I pull a card for The Collective each day.

Each month I choose a different deck,

And this month I've chosen the Yuletide Tarot from Christopher Hughes.

If you have not followed me yet,

Be sure to do so,

As you will get notifications every day when the daily reading is released,

Along with any other meditations,

Reiki sessions,

Etc.

,

That I have put out.

Thank you for joining,

And I hope you enjoy!

Okay,

So today we have a jumper card once again.

So our cards,

We have Death,

And we have Three of Gifts reversed.

We'll start with the Death card.

This is the second time we've pulled this this month.

This is the second time we've pulled this this month.

Transition,

Separation,

Transformation.

This card defines the tarot as a whole.

In a secular sense,

It is this card that instills a deep fear in those who do not understand the function of the tarot,

And yet it belies a powerful message that goes beyond the fear of death.

It is instead the initiator of transformation.

Here we see one of the most terrifying yet misunderstood figures from the popular Yuletide tradition,

In the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come,

From Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.

The figure is intimidating and powerful,

And invokes a fear reaction in Scrooge,

Who goes through a process that eventually leads him to transformation.

But before it comes,

He must face the reality of his own demise.

The future appears like a grim reaper,

And yet it does not kill,

Nor does it take anything away.

It is simply the precursor to an ending,

The initiator of great change.

The death card rarely represents actual death,

But it can express a profound grief from separation or loss.

In its usual sense,

It implies that in order for the path ahead to be clear of hindrances,

The individual must undergo a transition,

And that process may well be fear-ridden.

This card teaches us that what we truly fear is fear itself,

And that change can be tantamount to death,

For we may not recognize who we are after a great upheaval.

This is a card that represents the inevitable,

Regardless of how many offerings we may give it,

And irrespective of our status.

Queens and paupers alike must eventually face the inevitable head-on.

Do not be fearful,

For what hides in the void of death cowls in truth.

So we have the reversed meaning today?

Death and birth are two sides of the same coin.

This is why there is no birth card in the major arcana.

Death can imply a stagnation of energy where one becomes stuck.

In this case,

No rebirth is possible because you are clinging on to past truths,

Simply because they are familiar.

You must find a way to break out of the rut.

And then our jumper card today,

Three of gifts reversed.

Learning,

Labor,

Skills.

The fire of creativity has now descended through the emotions and the realm of the mind into actualization.

Notice the three gifts still unopened on the tabletop.

She knows what they contain.

They are the collaborative gifts that the candle,

Good cheer,

And canes have brought.

She is now doing what she always wanted to do.

Use her creative expression to bring joy to herself and others.

She has all the tools she needs to go forward.

These have been forged by her own hands and are the result of determination,

Talent,

And skill.

In the darkness behind her are ten lights that seem to hang impossibly in the air.

These are the potential held in the ten cards of this suit that influenced the decisions she made to reach this point in her life.

So the reversed meaning here.

When the heart has gone out of a situation,

You need to reassess your position and how tenable it actually is.

Maybe now is the right time to put wheels in motion and make a change for your own sanity,

If not for that of others.

So again,

Transformation,

Change,

Facing that fear,

And inspired action,

Right?

When we know we're in a stuck place,

We have to do something differently.

If we keep doing the same thing,

We just keep repeating that heartbreak of being stuck.

Hope this message was helpful today.

Namaste.
