Finding our inner child and inner teen can help us resolve so many things in our current lives. In this meditation we reconnect with both and show them how much they are loved, heard and safe and at the same time we become complete.

Welcome beloved.

I invite you to find a comfortable place where you can fully relax.

Allow your eyes to close softly and take a slow deep breath in.

And exhale fully.

Again,

Inhale and exhale.

With each breath,

Feel yourself arriving here,

Safe and supported.

Now imagine yourself standing in a peaceful garden.

The air is warm.

The sky is soft.

And flowers bloom all around you.

This is your inner sanctuary.

And as you stand in this garden,

You notice a small path ahead.

You're called to follow it.

And soon you see a little girl.

This is your inner child.

She may be very young or perhaps around seven or eight.

Notice how she looks,

What she's doing,

And the expression on her face.

Take a moment to simply be with her.

Allow her to reveal herself in her own way.

Now you kneel down to her level.

Speak gently in your heart.

I see you.

I love you.

I love you.

You are safe with me.

If she is willing,

Imagine reaching out your hand.

Feel her little hands in yours.

And notice what she needs.

Perhaps comfort,

Play,

Reassurance,

Or simply your presence,

And offer it with love.

Now in the distance,

You notice another figure walking toward you.

This is your inner teen.

She may be bold and fiery or shy and uncertain.

Notice how she appears,

How she holds herself.

You step toward her with compassion.

Speak softly in your heart.

I hear you.

I honor your feelings.

You belong.

And you do matter.

Imagine embracing her or simply sitting beside her,

Letting her know that she is not alone.

Feel her presence.

Feel her soften as she is accepted and seen.

Now envision yourself holding both your inner child and your inner teen,

One on each side of you.

Together you walk back to the garden,

To a safe and beautiful place where you can rest.

Here,

Whisper to them both.

You are loved.

You are safe.

You are free to be exactly who you are.

And I will always be here for you.

Feel the warmth of this promise filling your heart.

Feel the younger parts of you relax,

Knowing they are finally home.

Rest here for a bit,

Allowing the love to integrate,

Weaving together the past and the present.

When you are ready,

Gently release the vision.

Bring awareness back to your breath,

Your body,

And this present moment.

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

And when it feels right,

Softly open your eyes.

Carry with you the knowing that your child self and teen self are not separate from you.

They are part of your wholeness.

And they are deeply loved.
