There's nothing more for me to do here.
The story's already been told.
My job is done.
I need to close this chapter,
Move on,
And not look back.
Welcome to Your Daily Whisperer,
I'm Cara Bradley bringing you a big aha I had recently as I celebrated the 20-year anniversary of a business I founded and a community I built.
I led Virg Yoga for 16 years and it's now in good hands.
I went back to celebrate 20 years of classes and community.
I saw friends,
Teachers,
Students.
It was incredibly heartwarming.
As I put my head on the pillow that night after the celebration,
I realized my job is done.
The story's been told here.
There's nothing more for me to do.
I need to close this chapter of my life and not look back.
Perhaps you are ready for this as well in some area of your life.
It happens,
You know,
We carry stories with us and sometimes we recognize it's time to move on.
And the only way for me to open up a new chapter is to close the old.
Perhaps for you today,
The first step is just to be honest with yourself.
Are you ready to move on?
Are you ready to close this chapter?
Are you ready to close a chapter?
Has a story already been told?
Where is there nothing more for you to do?
I think for me,
The story of Virg Yoga is beautiful.
I mean,
It certainly is not without struggle.
It certainly is not without sadness at times.
But in the end,
It is part of who I am.
It will always be part of who I am.
But I recognize now I am ready for a new chapter in my life.
I am ready to open doors.
And the only way for those doors to fully open and for me to actually see them is for me to close this chapter and to close this door.
So I share this with you to perhaps help you see something you were unable to see.
That in order for us to open new doors,
We need to close others.
So for you,
What is it today?
Perhaps you just sit with it.
Maybe you write it in your journal.
Where do I need to move on from?
Where is my job done?
Where is the story already been told?
What chapter needs to close?
For me,
I heard the message loud and clear.
Don't look back,
Kara.
Don't look back.
Look forward.
Look forward into the new,
The possibilities,
The opportunities waiting out for you.
And for all of you out there,
Look for those doors that have just opened and see what's waiting for you.
Thank you for listening.
