Let's take a minute to arrive meditation.
Often times we are bouncing from one meeting to the next,
One zoom to the next,
Perhaps going to work and arriving home and from home to work.
And we rarely take a moment to just settle ourselves before going into our next thing.
So right before you go into your next thing,
Consider this meditation of a minute to arrive.
Feel free to find yourself in a comfortable position.
That's usually with your feet on the floor,
Your hands in your lap,
Your back is straight and your head is in alignment with your spine.
And let's just begin by just feeling the weight of our bodies in our chair.
And also just bringing attention to our feet on the floor and our hands in our lap.
Or maybe just noticing the sounds that are happening around us.
And by noticing these things really just helps to ground ourselves to being here right now.
Now see if you can bring your attention to your breath.
How do you even know you are breathing in this moment?
Feel free to bring your attention to one inhale and one exhale.
And now bring your attention to a few cycles of your breath from the inhale to the exhale.
Now feel free to set an intention.
Perhaps that intention of that one thing you'd like to work on,
Or how you would like to show up in your next meeting,
Or in the next thing you're about to go into.
But just set your intention,
Whether that's to be more present,
To be more open,
To be more curious,
Whatever it is,
Just set your intention now before going into your next thing.
And with that,
Let's take a deep breath in and a slow exhale out.
And in a moment,
I'll ring the bell and feel free to bring your attention back to the room.
And hopefully you feel a little bit more settled to go into your next thing.
Thank you for sharing your practice with me.
