Alright,
Let's begin.
Laying back in your bed,
You can allow your eyes to be open or closed.
Either is completely okay.
Imagine that for the next 10 minutes,
You can surround yourself in a bubble.
A bubble that holds you comfortable in this moment.
Thoughts or worries of the day bouncing off the outside of your bubble during this meditation.
Nothing to pull you out of this practice right now.
Sounds that happen outside of the bubble just allow you to enjoy this moment even more fully.
Reminding you that the world can get along just fine without you for the moment.
Allow yourself to become aware of the lastitude of your muscles and the wonderful comfort and warmth of your bed.
This cozy,
Sleepy contentment that represents a natural in-between state before you come fully awake.
Noticing the relaxation in the softness.
The softness of the bed,
The sheets,
The pillow.
The softness of your facial muscles.
Just noticing the sensations.
Now allowing that awareness to spread in a wave down your body.
Noticing how the pillow,
If you use one,
Supports your head and your neck.
Noticing your back and pelvis.
Supported completely by the bed.
The heaviness that is still in your back and legs in this in-between time.
Take several deep breaths in through the nose and into the belly.
Allowing your belly to expand as you inhale deeply.
Hold for a moment and then exhale through the mouth slowly,
Slowly and completely until your lungs are totally empty.
Almost coughing from the emptiness in the lungs before you take that next breath in.
Do this several times now.
As you breathe,
Notice how the air seems to fill you,
Replenish you.
Imagine now that this breathing is also pulling in energy.
A gentle energy that fills your heart as you fill your lungs.
Maybe that feels like a warmth or just an awareness in the chest.
Or maybe you notice it feels a bit like happiness or humor in the body.
As you complete those deeper breaths,
Just allow your breathing to settle.
And focus on your day with this perspective of an observer.
With curiosity and non-judgment.
No planning or action,
Just noticing for a moment your day ahead.
Not letting these thoughts pull you out of the moment,
Just observing them as they pass.
So that they pull you further into the deliberate and self-directed ritual of taking time to set the day in motion in a way that feels wonderful.
How will you choose to enjoy the day?
What thoughts and emotions will you choose to carry with you into this day?
That will carry you into your day fully resourced.
Feeling connected,
Creative.
Maybe allowing yourself to fill with confidence and curiosity.
Positive anticipation.
Trust and love.
Notice how those emotions happen both in your mind and physiologically in your body as well.
And just enjoy those emotions growing and expanding,
Creating a very powerful state to be in.
Allow yourself to breathe in those emotions,
Feeling them grow in your body as you bring them in,
Deliberately,
Easily.
Confidence.
Feel strong and grounded,
Maybe feeling it in your back and your shoulders.
Happiness and positive anticipation.
Maybe feels warm,
A bit fluttery in your belly.
And what empowered beliefs do you want to wear today?
Maybe feeling love and connection expanding in your chest as those beliefs reinstall.
Now bringing your core values to mind and allowing their effect to ripple through the day ahead of you.
Calling up each value that motivates your life,
Bringing it right to the forefront.
Courage and compassion may be of great value today.
Feeling those fill you.
Now from this state,
What is the greatest intention you have for this day?
What do you choose to achieve?
Whose lives will you touch?
How will you transform how you show up in the small and big moments of this day?
Allow yourself to notice those shifts of possibility.
Now getting ready to get out of bed,
Allow yourself to notice yourself filling with energy and vitality with each new breath.
Like the energy that surrounds you can be breathed deeply into your body,
Flowing through your limbs.
Each breath helping you feel more alert,
Alive,
Energized.
And wiggling your toes,
Stretching,
Coming fully aware of your body and the room and the outside world again.
And now in your own time rolling out of bed filled with intention and possibility.
