**Note: Truth does not always sound pleasant. If the mind is not really peaceful now, it might not be a perfect moment to listen to this podcast, one has to be aware of the emotions or reactions that can block one from listenING ATTENTIVELY and with HUMILITY. This talk is a meditation practice. What one needs to do is listen attentively, without getting stuck in words, examine the mind in silence, no agree or disagree, just look at the mind as it is. Doing so is already a meditation practice.

As long as the thoughts in terms illusions,

Reactions,

Images kick in,

The mind gets confused.

In that confusion,

The mind can encounter all kinds of issues.

When the mind has issues,

The mind wants to find out a solution to it.

So the mind is seeking new methods,

New knowledge.

The mind falls into another trap.

When the mind is confused,

The very seeking is part of the confusion.

Seeking a solution is part of the problem.

Therefore,

The mind is trapped in the problem.

To really solve the problem,

The mind must see that seeking is not a solution.

Seeking a solution is therefore not a solution.

The mind that is seeking doesn't observe.

The seeking implies a direction.

The mind is totally attracted by that direction.

And the mind can't see,

Can't observe anymore.

Just like if we are watching a map,

When we have a direction to go,

We can't observe the map anymore.

We just want to find out a point on the map,

The place,

The name,

The street,

Or whatever.

Only when we have a new direction,

We can really observe the map.
