The way that mind gets turbulant is like a sword dividing water into halves, which is of course in vain; however, the consequence of this is that the water is no longer peaceful; the mind works in the same way, can one live a total life without being fragmented by thoughts/views?

The mind is like a peaceful lake.

The mind cannot be divided.

But our life is full of all kinds of divisions,

Conflicts,

Dualities.

This conflicts keeps the mind restless.

Makes the mind keep seeking,

Grieving,

Desiring,

Wanting.

It's like when you use salt to divide the water into half.

No matter how hard one tries to divide the water,

The water still stays as a whole.

Can't be divided by anything.

But the very intention to divide the water only makes the water turbulent.

This is what is taking place on the mind.

When the mind is going through all kinds of divisions,

Good,

Bad,

Right,

Wrong,

All kinds of standards,

All kinds of rules.

The mind is still trying to be as a whole.

This division only makes the mind turbulent.

Make a life a struggle.

Can we live a life totally?

No being divided by anything.

To keep the mind whole is the best way,

Probably the only way to keep the mind peaceful.

So to meditate is to work out of any kind of psychological dualities.

It's to live a life totally,

Completely,

Without being fragmented by thoughts,

Ideas,

Views.
