The most wonderful gift of just being can bring you the insight and wisdom to support you in your life. By taking time to allow yourself to explore that inner place can truly be one of the things that guides you to the wisdom to bring meaning to your life.

A very big aloha.
My name is Reverend Cindy Palos and I'm recording this right the day after Thanksgiving and I've just been online and about 90% of everything I saw was designed to get you to buy things.
It's Black Friday when I'm recording this.
It's like,
Wow,
I just realized how advanced they've gotten in making you think that there's something you have to get,
Something that you need to be happy and if you didn't get it now you'd be losing out.
It's pretty amazing how advanced it's gotten,
Really truly amazing how advanced marketing has gotten and I don't see that same level of advancement going on to encourage you to just be.
Now probably because there's no money involved in just being.
Other groups,
People,
Whatever,
Can't get you to spend.
Well,
I guess that's not true.
There are people who will sell you packages or a day to spend with them to be,
But they usually have to include a lot of things that you want with that to make that worthwhile.
Then they get very expensive.
It can be very expensive,
But the reality is you don't need to spend money to enjoy Christmas or the holidays.
You really don't need to spend money to be happy,
To be aware,
To be present,
To just be.
And we're encouraged to do this,
Of course,
In so many ways these days that it's almost entertaining to see if you look at it objectively what people will try to sell you.
And I don't understand that so much,
Really,
Except that there's this need for everyone to sell you things to make money,
Right?
They're hired,
They're experts that are hired by groups and the more advanced their terms are getting you to click in,
The more money they get,
The more money they spend on trying to make you think you need to get what they're selling.
And I just thought it'd be good to take a moment where you don't have to buy anything here and all you need to do is to just tune into your own being and just be.
And find that there's this amazing wealth of happiness.
It's really this amazing gift,
One of the greatest gifts of all.
The greatest gifts is just to be able to be.
I know Shakespeare said to be or not to be.
I guess that's a big question,
Right?
That's a big question.
Can you just be?
And amazing things happen when you are taking the time to be.
All kinds of stuff comes up and it makes some people uncomfortable.
And that's a lot of times why you run from just being.
Because you will experience a lot of what's going on in your life and your mind and your whole consciousness.
And it takes actually some courage and it takes some I guess the power to understand the ultimate reason why you are just being.
To be able to survive that amazing power of being.
And I guess if you don't understand that the goal of just being gets you through in very interesting ways,
Very interesting ways if you take the time to do it.
Now if you've been on this path a while,
And I assume that a lot of you there have because I've got people who have been doing it a long time who listen.
I've been doing it since I've been 15 and the amazing thing to me is how it continues,
How it continues to endlessly be fascinating.
And that through time,
Meditating every day as I do every day,
You will still discover so much,
So much inside you,
So much going on within that it doesn't get boring ever.
Some of us don't want to get bored,
But it's not boring at all in the time that you actually look at this as an adventure.
The adventure that you don't have to pay tons and tons of money for.
I like taking a trip.
Some of these places have gotten rather expensive.
That journey that you take,
That trip you take within yourself is sometimes so fascinating,
Just so enlightening you know as you journey on in this.
And there's times you're going to see things that you know may be scary,
Maybe a little like really you know.
But then there's also times that you experience things that are so full of love and light and this insight that you get,
This insight from going within,
That it becomes a fascinating experience to just be.
So rather than trying to sell you anymore,
I just like to take some time to just be.
And we know how that happens.
You just find a comfortable place to sit and you take the time to be safe,
You know,
Feel good,
To feel in a quiet place.
My place is rather,
I'm recording a little later than I usually do,
So there's more outside noise going on.
But I live in a place that's got a lot of space around it,
So it's interesting nature sounds.
Birds definitely,
I love the birds.
But so I've got little noises I go within,
Listening to that,
Recognizing that energy.
Because sound energy is an interesting energy.
There's a dog that barks.
This dog barks at everything.
So there's a dog barking.
Now I'm just going to go a little deeper in,
Breathing deeply in.
And I suggest you breathe deeply in and hold your breath and then breathing out,
Breathing out,
The breath.
Ah,
Breathing in and holding,
Just breathing out.
Now the beauty of just breathing is it gives your mind,
Which is,
Your mind reacts to programming,
Your own inner programming.
And it gives your mind something very simple to do.
And it helps to keep you from getting distracted.
So you just breathe in and you hold and you breathe out.
Very simple.
Follow the breath.
Follow the yellow brick road.
Breathing in,
Holding,
And breathing out.
Being very comfortable with each breath.
And if your eyes are closed,
You might start seeing different colors.
I've always found as I go deeper within,
That the colors change.
The more I'm in that state of meditation,
I will see the colors get brighter and lighter.
Right now I'm seeing some shades of blue and violet,
Purple.
And take a moment to allow yourself to be surrounded by this amazing,
Protective,
Wonderful white light.
And send your feet,
Go below your feet and all the way through your body,
Up above,
Way above,
To the right of you,
To the left of you,
Surrounding you in a wonderful protective white light.
Continuing to breathe,
Just be here now.
Just be.
And allow yourself to be comfortable in being.
Delve into that place inside you.
That place you go when you meditate.
Do you know where that is?
What part of your consciousness are you living in?
Allow that consciousness to expand.
Allow your consciousness to be conscious.
Conscious of your unconsciousness.
Conscious of your consciousness.
What can observe your consciousness and be conscious of your consciousness and conscious of your unconsciousness?
There is a place within that can be observing,
That observing self.
How expansive is your consciousness?
Do you limit your consciousness or can you explore being here with your conscious,
Amazing,
Aware?
What if you were allowing your consciousness to expand to your super consciousness and the cosmic consciousness?
They're all part of the same substance which you can explore.
How would your cosmic consciousness relate to you?
Don't limit yourself.
Just let yourself be.
What a wonderful gift.
This amazing ability to expand our consciousness,
To be aware of our beingness.
Continuing to breathe,
Allowing that thread from the highest spot within your beingness and your awareness to be present with you here and now.
And slowly allow yourself to come back.
Aware of your whole energy field and your mind and your body and your awareness.
And be grateful for this wonderful gift,
This amazingly free,
Wonderful gift that you have to explore your own inner self,
Your inner consciousness,
And to be with it and to also appreciate who you really are.
You are a divine being of light and love.
You are a gift worthy of so much recognition.
And as you recognize this in yourself,
Then you're free to share it,
To give it as a gift to others.
What a great gift to give.
