In meditation,
I discovered that one of the most profound and awakening truths I could meditate on is,
I am love.
And that love that I,
As a human,
Seek has always been within me,
Surrounding me,
Flowing through me,
For I am that love.
Meditating on I am love anchors us in divine presence,
Stirs up our divine gifts,
And reveals to our hearts that the divine,
The great one,
Is in everyone,
In everything.
Today,
In our meditation,
To deepen our awareness of the truth that I am love,
Let us begin with something simple and tangible,
Our hands.
Our hands are a part of us that we can easily see,
Touch,
And feel.
They are an extension of the love that we are.
So as you settle into the space of love that is always surrounding you,
Gently bring your gaze to your hands,
Appreciate them,
And feel their presence,
Feel the love that is pulsing within them.
Allow your heart to overflow with tenderness for your hands.
Look at your palms,
Your fingers,
The lines and the creases that tell the story of your life.
Your hands are a reflection of your heart.
They allow you to carry,
They comfort,
They create,
They connect.
Now as you're gazing at your hands,
Say out loud or internally,
My hands are love.
And love is their essence.
Feel the truth of these words.
These hands of yours are not only vessels of love.
They are love.
They express kindness,
Compassion,
And care.
They have held others,
They have tended to your needs,
And touched the world in ways that are unique to you.
Say it again,
Softly or boldly this time as you sit with this truth.
My hands are love.
And love is their essence.
Feel the energy of love flowing through your hands,
Warming them.
Imagine this love expanding outward from this realization.
My hands are love.
And love is their essence.
Let this love travel through your body,
Filling you completely and radiating to the world around you.
Close your eyes now,
If you feel comfortable,
And rest your hands on your heart or in your palm.
As you know that these hands of yours,
And every part of you,
Are manifestations of the love you already are.
Breathe deeply,
Letting this awareness settle into your heart.
My hands are love.
And love is their essence.
I am love.
And love is my essence.
Love is within me.
Love is all around me.
My hands are love.
And love is their essence.
I am love.
And love is my essence.
Love is within me.
Love is all around me.
Now to deepen our connection to this sacred truth.
Take another look at your hands.
Embrace their contours with your fingers or your gaze.
The lines,
The shape that make them yours.
Know that these hands,
Your hands,
So tangible and present,
Are the gateway to something much greater.
For beneath the skin of your hands,
Beyond what you can see,
Lies an infinite expanse,
A vastness that stretches into forever.
As you gaze at your hands,
Imagine that just beneath the surface of your hands,
Beneath your very skin,
Is a boundless universe.
Feel it pulsing with life,
With light,
With love.
This is the space of your soul,
The infinite part of you that is timeless,
Limitless,
And radiant.
It is a vast ocean of peace and possibility flowing without beginning or end.
Now with your hands,
If you'd like to rest them softly on your lap or on your heart,
Say aloud or internally,
Under my skin is a vastness.
A vastness that stretches the expanse of forever.
Feel the truth of these words as they resonate through your being.
With every breath,
This vastness expands.
It is the infinite love within you,
The eternal presence of your soul.
In this vastness,
There is no fear,
There is no limitation,
There is only the endless truth that you are connected to everything,
And that love is the thread that binds us all together.
Breathe deeply with this knowing,
Letting this awareness root itself in your heart.
I am love.
I am vast.
I am infinite.
I am love within and beyond.
Breathe into this space of love,
Of pure love,
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes and into your day,
And let your hands be a reminder of the power you hold.
To shape the world with kindness and love.
Carry this truth with you.
Through these hands,
My love flows into everything I touch.
