The kingdom of heaven is within you and is all around you.
These are the words of Yeshua from the Gospel of Thomas.
If you fail to know yourself,
Yeshua said,
And a kingdom within,
You dwell in poverty.
So when we forget who we are,
We're not only cutting ourselves off from that richness of spirit that dwells within us,
But from all the help,
The life,
The spirit that surrounds us.
Every time we take a deep breath,
We're actually breathing in that rich kingdom that surrounds us and expanding the kingdom within us.
The breath is the activator,
The uniter,
The awakener to this kingdom within us and all around us.
In our meditation,
Be aware of the power and the beauty of the breath,
That spiritus,
That kingdom of heaven within you and all around you.
We'll be using the power of a mantra combined with the power of the breath to expand and surrender into the kingdom within us and all around us.
Also with each Imbrah,
I will recite a mantra for you.
Within me is the kingdom of heaven.
And that is your cue to take a deep breath in and expand and then hold it momentarily.
And then when I say within me and all around me,
That is your cue to breathe out and surrender.
We'll be doing this for a round of eight.
Your aid is symbolic of eternity,
Forever,
The infinite.
For we have just one life,
But that life is eternal.
Now for the first of the eight rounds,
I will prompt you to breathe in and hold and then breathe out.
And then after the first round,
You will continue to do deep breathing as you silently repeat the mantra.
Within me is the kingdom of heaven,
Holding momentarily before you breathe out.
And then silently repeat within me and all around me.
As you silently recite the mantra,
Focus on the awareness that you are an essential part of this kingdom.
How could you not be?
For it dwells within you and it is all around you.
Where you move and breathe and have your being in it,
The kingdom of heaven that is.
Let's begin.
Within me is the kingdom of heaven.
Breathe in,
Feel yourself expanding.
Hold momentarily.
Breathe out.
Let yourself surrender into the kingdom of heaven.
Within me and all around me.
Within me is the kingdom of heaven.
Within me and all around me.

Within me is the kingdom of heaven.
