
Cloud Jumping Game
This awesome practice, "Cloud Jumping Game," is one of the meditations exercises from my new book, "Bedtime Meditations For Kids." I think you are going to really like it! Relax and hang out, have fun with your favorite animals.

Are you ready to meditate with Kari?
Make sure that you're lying down and you're comfortable and ready to relax while you do this meditation.
Close your eyes and see if you can shake out all the whittles from your body.
So whittle your legs,
Whittle your arms,
Whittle your head from side to side.
Give your whole body a whittle and a jiggle.
And then stop and see if you can stay very,
Very still.
Allow your body to start to get heavy and relax.
Do this with your eyes closed.
Imagine that you've had a very,
Very long day and you've maybe been running and playing and doing lots of activities that could have caused you to be tired and feeling really sleepy right now.
And if you haven't done any of those things,
Just use your imagination.
And imagine that your legs are heavy and your arms are heavy and your head feels heavy and everything is so,
So heavy and tired and relaxed.
And it just feels really nice to be still,
Lying down in bed,
Letting go of your day.
Taking a nice,
Big,
Deep breath and imagine you're breathing all the way down to your toes.
Feel your feet and allow your feet to get comfortable and relax.
Just imagine your toes and your ankles and the balls of your feet getting all sleepy and warm and comfortable in bed.
Relax your legs.
Allow the muscles in your legs to get sleepy and heavy and tired.
Soften that space at the bottom of your back.
So feel your sit bones and your lower back and breathe into that space and allow your back to relax completely into your bed.
Let your shoulders get heavy,
Your chest,
Your tummy.
Imagine that you're holding up something really heavy and your arms feel really tired and heavy.
Allow your arms to completely relax,
Your muscles to relax.
Let your head get soft into the pillow.
All the muscles in your face soften and relax.
So it feels like your entire body is heavy and comfortable and very,
Very sleepy.
All of a sudden,
You start to feel as if your body is so heavy,
So,
So relaxed,
That in a funny way,
It's as if your body is kind of floating away and disappearing.
Imagine that your body,
Very,
Very slowly and safely starts to just lift up off the bed just a little bit,
Start to rise up as if something's underneath you that's carrying you up towards the sky.
Imagine you fly up out of your room,
Out of your house,
Up into the outside air,
Up into the sky,
Going higher and higher.
Up into the sky,
Going higher and higher,
Up towards the clouds.
Keep going higher and higher until you find yourself laying on the softest,
Comfortable-est fluffy cloud up there in the sky.
You take a look around and you see all the different clouds in the sky.
That's when you notice that each big,
White,
Fluffy cloud has an animal on it.
And as you look around,
You notice that all of the animals on all of the different clouds are your favorite animals.
Each one of those clouds out there in the sky has one of your favorite animals on it.
What's awesome about being in the clouds is that you have super flying powers,
Super jumping powers,
Super jumping powers,
Super jumping powers.
You can fly and jump onto all of those different clouds all around you.
Which cloud would you like to go to first?
When I count to three,
You're going to jump with your super jumping cloud jumping powers over onto one of those clouds with your favorite animal on it.
One,
Two,
Three.
You find yourself safely on the cloud with your animal.
This is where you can pet your animal,
You can talk to the animal,
You can do whatever that animal does with that animal.
This is where you can spend time doing whatever you want right here on this cloud.
Or you can take the time to jump onto any other cloud that you want to jump on and play with another animal that's one of your favorite animals.
This is how the cloud jumping game works.
You can jump from cloud to cloud or fly from cloud to cloud and be with all of your different animals.
You can also jump from cloud to cloud and be with all of your different animals.
What I want you to do now is choose an animal that you'd like to fall to sleep with.
Which cloud would you like to jump to?
I'm going to count to three and then you're going to jump onto that cloud and be with the animal.
One,
Two,
Three.
One,
Two,
Three.
Lie down on your cloud and get all nice and comfortable.
Make sure that your animal is lying there with you.
Snuggle in together.
Start to let your body soften and relax on this big,
Soft,
Fluffy cloud up in the sky,
Away from everything else in the world.
So quiet and peaceful.
When you're there with your favoritest animal,
You can close your eyes and completely relax your body.
Let everything get sleepy and tired.
And just be still and quiet and listen to the music and allow yourself to fall to sleep with your favorite,
Bestest animal right there on the cloud.

Loved it! I couldn't choose between different animals so I got creative and imagined I jumped to one of the clouds and picked up one of the animals and brought it to the other cloud so I could cuddle up with both of them. Namaste and goodnight ππ
